Joe's a grumpy old man. He also needs someone to put words in his mouth, so Dunham seems like a perfect choice.

He's been an awful governor and would be an awful president, but because he managed to project confidence in a crisis people will just act like nothing else about him matters.

It's bizarre to see the media make a hero out of him when he is the executive responsible for making sure NY was prepared for this emergency.

it would be bizarre if they didn't always do that with incompetent Democrats.

The media celebrated his dad too. It's the Elizabeth Warren complex - well-educated but unwise, claiming to care for the poor but aloof, self-absorbed, and self-righteous. The media loves this kind of candidate.

The media isn't poor. Guys like Cuomo care about the things they care about. It isn't poor people, that is for sure.

Based on the segments of Cuomo briefings I have seen, I think he has improved his standing (although he had some bad moments yesterday). He does much better generally than the mayor of NYC -- the gap between those two is so wide, it seems like de Blasio's sole purpose is to make Cuomo look good. It is easy for me to see how a Dem voter would prefer Cuomo as a nominee to Biden (who is a walking, talking disaster). It would not shock me at all if they dump Biden for Cuomo at the convention. I still don't think he could win, but they are desperate for something, anything.

The current rules on social distancing help Biden more than anything else that could have been done...after all, since he cannot have rallies, we don't get footage of his daily gaffes. Meanwhile, the efforts to make everything all the fault of Trump means that the dems that bother to vote won't even care about who the nominee might be...they will just look for the name that ISN'T Trump.

That's true, many of us will vote for anything with a pulse not named Trump. I pray to Christ every night that Donald Trump will die before the general election. How so many of your hopes and dreams fell to such an average man can only indicate one thing about your own stations in life. The wicked deserve the wicked. f**k your racist *** inclinations. Please ban me, may your president and your support of him rot in hell.

    Go horns!

Enjoy your pitiful existence filled with unending hate for others who don't think like you. Wishing death upon others makes you a sorry excuse for a human being.

It wasn't 'Others', plural. Just the one guy, the false Messiah.
So the ban would be great, but also a dissolution (if that's the right term) of my entire account, and the then if y'all could lock out any ability for my ISP or whatever, to ever register again. That'd be great, thanks!

Helpful tip: you can place certain posters on ignore, then you don’t have to worry about what that person says and spare us the drama.

True, but let's not pretend that mindless ticket voting is a one-party phenomenon.

This is such a big part of Dem Party politics - who has their feeling hurt and whose hurt feelings are the most legitimate. What you have to do to make them feel better about themselves. This is a hole they fell into decades ago - and like the Hotel California, they can never leave.

"For some, like Amy Siegel of Natick, Mass., the anti-Sanders feeling relates back to the 2016 Democratic primary, when she supported Hillary Clinton and believed Mr. Sanders ran a divisive campaign that wounded her ahead of the general election. ...
    * * *
Ahead of Mr. Sanders’s presidential run in 2020, his campaign did not concern itself with smoothing tensions among voters who supported Mrs. Clinton in 2016. He did not seek the endorsements of many party leaders, who were always unlikely to back him, but could have been swayed from being openly antagonistic to ambivalent.,,,"

A liberal on an aviation forum I'm on had this same meme but with a photoshopped Trump in place of Wicked Witch, as his avatar.

No politics allowed on that forum, but he did it and got away with it for about half a day.

    He flies for United.

After living in Europe for awhile, I'm not impressed with any of the American airlines. They're quickly turning into easyJet and Ryanair with the added fees for everything, but when the basic ticket is bus fare, it's a lot easier to tolerate having to pay extra for every little thing.

Sorry, wasn't trying to make UA look bad. Just a shameless way to get folks to fly Frontier. :ousucksnana:

Yes, a lot of people like our model of dirt cheap ticket price and pay as you go, basically.
