As long we get football season, I am good.

Also would like to see the NBA do somekind of playoff tournament this summer. I mean why not?

Purple is actual in the graph at bottom -- It seems like chose the wrong variables for their models, as in not accounting for the lockdown at all

I'm sure the media and others who criticize Trump for "stupid things" he tweets are doing the same to Cuomo. Right?

Here is a disconnect with what looks like fear mongering by that Mark D. Levine guy
NYC averages 550 deaths daily in normal times
There are 214 hospitals in NYC. Using his estimate of an average capacity of 15 cadavers per morgue that means that there is a citywide capacity of approximately 3,210 bodies. Add to that the 80 trailers, with 100 spaces per trailer (8,000 spaces), that give NYC a current capacity to handle over 11,000 bodies. There have only been 2,472 death in NYC attributed to the Chinese Virus since March 14 when first death was recorded.
Did none of the people who died since March 14 get buried or cremated? Or any of the other deaths?
Has NYC just been stock piling bodies? Why would they?

If I was a gov worker, I would want quarantine forever. All pay, 10% of the work.

Lobo LongestHorn probably works for the government. It would explain his know-nothing attitude toward most subjects.

Mrs. Deez is staying pretty busy, because she can do almost everything in her job from home. Her workload is lighter this week, because it's spring break over here. However, last week, she was very busy, and she expects to be busy next week.

For many government workers, you're right. They're staying home and doing little whether it's out of choice or not.

However, I will give special praise to the commissary and postal workers I've dealt with in the last few weeks, many of whom are retired military. Their workloads have exploded, and they're risking their own safety to make sure things are still moving. Those dudes are heroes.

The fact that I have a ton of family in New York and New Jersey alarms me, but at the same time, New Yorkers as a whole are pricks. They absolutely think the world revolves around them. When the Spurs beat the Knicks for their first NBA title back in 99. All I kept hearing was "Don't they have any white people in San Antonio" and crap like we are New York we will be back long before you will.

    Pride goes before the fall.

Ten percent of the fraction that was being done previously...very few government workers actually know the meaning of the term "work." And as a former Program Administrator with a State agency, it was doubly problematic because of the hassle created in the efforts to fire a government employee...

Sounds like Cuomo is going to issue an "executive order" requiring all New Yorkers in public to wear masks (or some mouth/mouse covering) "in situations where they can’t maintain social distancing."

Hopefully it means he is getting ready to re-open the state

And keep in mind that Texas state employees are easier to fire than most other state's employees.

This is Cuomo's "digital dream team"
    0 masks
    0 distancing
In other words, NONE of the people involved in the NY lockdown policy follow their own policy. They personally do not feel what their policies mean. They do not eat the cake they bake for everyone.
Maybe they should have a slice.

I don't live in New York, hate traveling to New York and don't care about them or their politics, so they can screw themselves with California.
