We should all quit being ugly partisans about everything and just do what Soros wants us to do. :smile1:

"Vice President Mike Pence told "Axios on HBO" that he welcomes the idea of bringing Michael Flynn back into government, after the Justice Department moved last week to drop its criminal case against President Trump's former national security adviser."

Wait. Wasn't Gowdy on the Trump impeachment team? But now Geatz is saying he was going against Trump and Flynn?

He is saying Gowdy (and Ryan) refused to let Gaetz and others use the House' subpoena powers when they made the request
And Gowdy said the FBI investigations into Trump and Flynn were legit (which we now know for certain was untrue -- it was a corrupt venture from the start)
So why did he take the positions at the time?

I get that. Wondering how he ended up on the impeachment team. And he goes on Fox News all the time talking about how bad everyone else is. Ugh, I have been a Gowdy fan.

It seems to me that Trump often favors people who sound good on TV. And Gowdy was a successful federal prosecutor before becoming a politician, who sounds good on TV. He reminds me somewhat of Graham, who sometimes sounds good and talks big on TV but then does little to back up the talk.

Graham is a pro at going on Fox and saying things like "We ought to do this" "We need to look into so and so" and on and on. Freaking loud mouth.

Forgot to mention that before he did the bidding for Paul Ryan, Gowdy did the same for John Boehner
I just never trusted that guy

Although this stuff coming out seems convincing I’m waiting for the proverbial shoe to drop that brings a serious question to it all. I just think the Dems are cooking up a scheme behind the scenes that will be their escape.
I simply do not believe anyone will get more than a ‘strong reprimand’ (if that) in the end. There are too many hands in this plot and too much corruption to go around.

Doubt it. Burr is a mild never trumper. People won’t mind him going down in flames. He also is being run over by Warner in the Senate intelligence committee. He is the opposite of Nunes.

Is he wrong not to want to display the pic of the guy who began a coup d'état against him?

‘No Interest’: Obama Won’t Join Trump For Unveiling Of His Presidential Portrait
"Sources familiar with the portrait unveiling matter reportedly told NBC News that Obama has no interest in participating in the post-presidency tradition as long as Trump is in office—and Trump has no qualms about halting the presidential custom.
Obama reportedly refuses to attend WH ceremony to unveil his official portrait

Prompted by reports that Barack Obama has no intention of attending his official portrait unveiling while President Trump is in office, sources told NBC News that Trump has decided not to hold the ceremony at the White House. This marks a break from a 40-year tradition honored by presidents from both parties.

The tradition of previous presidents returning to the White House to meet with their successor to unveil their portraits spans back to the 1970s and has provided some rare moments of praise and bipartisanship; however, the tense air between Obama and President Trump is too thick, and neither of them reportedly wants it to happen. Their public war-of-words has heightened over the past few days, with Trump frequently mentioning “Obamagate” and Obama telling graduating college students last weekend that Trump has mishandled the country’s approach to the coronavirus.

Unlike most prior presidents, Obama has continued to thrust himself into the limelight since leaving the White House. Most recently, he excoriated President Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic in a virtual commencement address he gave for 2020 high school and college graduates. Though he didn’t specifically mention President Trump by name, Obama stated, “More than anything, this pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they’re doing. A lot of them aren’t even pretending to be in charge.”

Of course they will, and the intelligent people in this country will know why.

The LongestHorns in the country will shrilly parrot whatever their mainstream media mind controllers tell them to say.
