Interesting statement by Val Ackerman regarding Big East. If I'm not mistaken, UConn moves back to that conference starting with this upcoming season.

Edit: UConn hopes to be an official member of the Big East by July 2020, but legally have until 2022.

Does Texas really have that much money. I say that because I see all these schools taking budget cuts or some giving eligibility back to some spring sports meanwhile Texas is giving coaches raises & gave every player from every spring sport there eligibility back. I'm not complaining at all I'm just happy Texas doesn't have those problems

Most schools will be impacted more than UT will be.

Yes...Texas is the richest land-grant school in the country...we surpassed Harvard like 10 years ago...but there still will be some impact IMHO...

Texas will feel the pinch as will everyone. With oil trading at practically nothing the Permanent University Fund is losing millions, maybe billions.

A lot of interesting stuff discussed here. The NCAA seems focused on having Fall Championships. They also discuss the basketball season in light of decisions by some universities to end in person classes after Thanksgiving. My takeaways ....they will have a plan, the plan will need to be adjusted as spikes or additional waves transpire and they seem to want to avoid what happened in the spring.

"Delaying" rather than "losing" is probably a better description as at least a substantial amount of production should be shut-in with an additional amount in tankage waiting on prices to go up. WTI closed yesterday at $33.25 up $3.82 over the prior week and up $13.47 from 01 May.
