Only one of those schools has real academics. Just maybe he is one of those guys who realizes Life is more than the NFL draft although he certainly is athletically talented.

Perfect build for a CB. Must find his highlights.

He can play well as a sophomore.

Right. Unless he is convinced he is 1R talent and is looking at it from the perspective of which program offers the better odds of getting him into it and its accompanying financial rewards

I am not familiar with the 1R graduation track.

It's not complicated, goes like this - would you be willing to put off completing your degree until later for 1st round NFL money today?

Ahh, but cannot execute until after Junior year, right?

I guess the corollary is, "Do you know how to manage with that money to secure your future?" Futures are very uncertain and regularly sacrificed, I fear.

Starting RB in the NFL (Green Bay). Played at UTEP I think.

Aha! Totally missed it. I seem to remember UTEP had a very good RB recently way out of their league.

    Some more from Nahlin

The most important job when it comes to coordinators recruiting is to articulate an attractive philosophy, design a proven scheme, and to explain how a prospect fits within it. These guys don’t have to be ace recruiters, but if they aren’t they do need to be ace coordinators. I have been encouraged by what I’ve heard about Mike Yurcich. When he first arrived at UT, I think he was a little too focused on adding a 2021 quarterback to the class rather than focusing on the real need of adding Southlake Carroll’s Quinn Ewers to the 2022 class.

There seems to have been a quick correction and Texas is right in the thick of it for Ewers, in large part thanks to Yurcich. Unfortunately Texas hasn’t yet been able to capitalize on Yurcich’s preference for getting vertical. Every wide receiver recruit likes to hear that term, but so far Yurcich’s preference to take shots deep hasn’t resonated. Not being able to host prospects for spring ball sure didn’t help. Overall I like what I’m hearing about Yurcich. There’s a lot to like for every skill player.

i played with Caleb Burton's dad in HS (gawd i feel old). Dad played LB at Syracuse, not the biggest UT fan probably since Mackovic did not give him notice. But hopefully he has warmed up more recently.

Tetairoa McMillan plays Safety also. Pretty flashy player.

Like his QB too. A little small, but confident and accurate with a quick release.

Someone educate the kid on the last person known as T-Mac, although he does hold one record -

Only kid to play D-1 while out on bond in THREE different states.

That would be Tracy McGrady, who basically was Michael Jordan, minus the 6 championships.
