Is BLM the Most Powerful Political Party in the Country?

Tucker Carlson thinks so and he's got some good points. Thanks to "fawning coverage" by the MSM, BLM is way more popular than the Republican Party, Democrat Party, the Pope, and the President. 62% of likely voters have a favorable opinion of BLM. Trump is at 43%.

Carlson says, " Black Lives Matter is not a collection of marchers with signs. It's not a conventional political lobby like Planned Parenthood or the NRA. It's not pressuring Congress to pass some narrow new set of laws. Black Lives Matter is far more ambitious than that. It is working to remake the country and then to control it. It's a political party."

Tucker Carlson: Black Lives Matter is working to remake and control the country - and is immune from criticism

According to John Davidson of the Federalist, "There will be no opting out of the Black Lives Matter movement. You’re either for BLM or against it—and if you’re against it, you’re a racist. You will either support BLM publicly and enthusiastically, or you will be harassed, shunned, and shamed out of mainstream America. If you dare to speak a word against BLM, you will be targeted, mobbed, and probably fired."

If You Don’t Support Black Lives Matter, You're Fired

It is very difficult if not impossible to make factual statements on BLM
JoeFan's list of stats in another thread expose reality> But that does not matter to BLM or Media.
I am not sure how to bring sanity back.

Sanity will never come back as long as the MSM is jamming what a racist, horrible country America is down our throats every day, all day, relentlessly.

Yes, the money is pouring in and making BLM leadership rich.
Now so many corporations are scared of losing black dollars, they will eat their own and pay money to a quasi mafia organization like BLM to provide protection from being called a racist org.

The word Racist needs to be removed from people's vocabulary. If you call someone Racist you should be able to be sued for slander and or libel or even be jailed. The word Racist is being used as a weapon , similar to Joseph McCarthy use of the word "communist" . I believe once Trump wins the election he will push for that legislation.

People are bending over backwards for a group that behaves much like a terrorist organization.

It's that word that gives them their power. They don't have to prove someone or something is racist, they just have to stick them with that label and, as John Davidson said, "you will be harassed, shunned, and shamed out of mainstream America".

Since #OscarsSoWhite was introduced in 2015, look at the effect its had on Hollywood, as well as Madison Avenue and Network TV. It's pretty amazing.

Just in case anyone thought that the reaction to the Floyd killing was spontaneous, this podcasts explains how BLM had been preparing for their reaction to the next cop killing for years. They'd been working in Minneapolis and other liberal cities to defund the police for quite a while. They were just waiting for the right moment. The Floyd video gave it to them.

This explains why they protested even though everyone was on their side regarding Floyd’s death. They didn’t plan for that scenario. As a result, they achieved a suboptimal result due to the rioting and looting.

Patrisse Cullors, one of the three co-founders of BLM (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, by the way), describes herself and the other co-founders as “trained Marxists”, and now it all starts to make sense. One important item from the BLM agenda is the abolition of the police and prison system, a suggestion which logically begs the question, “But who would protect my property rights?” Exactly. In a Marxist society, there would be no private property rights. Abolishing the police in order to protect black lives (give me a break!) is a Trojan Horse, with the real goal being the abolition of private property. I'd love to hear what LeBron thinks about that idea, although they probably didn't discuss it much in his high school civics class.

On a related note, did anyone else here have any memorable Marxist professors at UT? Mine was a guy by the name of Al Watkins (in an Intro to Government class in the early eighties). He was one of my favorite professors of all time, even though we disagreed on just about everything (I’m a Libertarian, politically). But his class gave me great insight into the way Marxists think…

FBI determined that the "noose" in NASCAR's Bubba Wallace's garage was just a handle to open the giant garage door. It had been there for over a year because the driver who used the garage in last year's race, Menard, had video footage of it.

But, in this BSC country, it was mistaken for a noose. While the accusations that a noose was put in a black guy's garage were all you heard on the news a week or two ago, probably won't hear much about the FBI's conclusion. Oh, and Bubba is sure that it was in fact a noose. Guess he doesn't want his 15 minutes to end.

And what's sad is that to any decent human being, this is good news. But in the eyes of the media, BLM idiots, etc., this is a bad thing. It's a story to be tucked away and ignored because it is unhelpful to the narrative.

    Deez,

To me even worse is that the American church is jumping on the BLM bandwagon. It is sickening and tells me there might be a large number of wolves in sheep's clothing.

I’ve actually chosen to find a new church as a result of this. Our young pastor held a town hall with a black professor who basically spent an hour scolding him for even having the discussion. He continued to apologize. Afterwards, the church began posting victim names on the outdoor sign that included Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin and Rayshard Brooks.

What's disturbing about this isn't so much that he talked about it or even reached stupid conclusions but that he didn't even have a biblical basis for what he was doing. If he did, then he'd be able to defend himself against some bullying professor.

You must not have been in Boston. :)

That's not the organization. I bet many of the KKK terrorists were part of the Tea Party. That does not mean that the Tea Party was responsible for their actions.

Bubba, did you see what one of the BLM co-founders said about white people the other day? They are not comparable to the Tea Party.

I don't doubt that there were some crackpots in the Tea Party. There are crackpots in every political movement. The big difference is that the leadership of BLM are crackpots, and they're ok with violence. I've never heard a Tea Party leader condone destroying anyone's property.
