    I say 80%!

    :bevo::fiestanana:

If not I’ll ride a tricycle with raw T-Bones drug behind it past a trailer park in OK! KA did that in 87’ to a pledge. Cept in Austin.

Then I’ll have to buy a tricycle.
Back then they let upperclassmen haze freshman. Lucky me I was a fish in that era.

Best chance is to schedule all games in Lubbock or Waco where greedy *** politicians trying to climb the kickback ladder can't stop any event they don't get paidoff by.

Right now I would say chance of football with no fans 95%

Chance of football at all 75%

But if Texas continues to have 9000 hospitalizations a week through the rest of July those numbers go to 0 and about 20.

We will hold you to it, and me thinks that a season is as probable as a pregnant mule.

Better get one with big ‘ol wheels that goes fast. Those trashy trailer parks up there that they call homesteads are full of junk yard dawgs. Big uglies.

I say no way the P5 conferences miss out on the football money corona or not. The only way they don't play is if the President shuts it down.

At this point me thinks no college football this fall... if somehow there is football with limitations, there will be no fans in attendance. Hope I'm wrong....

Suspect we'll know in the next couple of weeks.

Depending on how you define ‘football’ , approaching zero. If the rules under which they plan to play baseball hold, zero. You can’t play flag football without sweat, some aggressive touches, etc. Breathing, or not, will be become a serious side effect in every conceivable case. Doubt that? Do five full speed(whatever that might be for you) back to back, 20 yards sprints, rapid succession, with any type mask you want. Pass-out is 50/50 at the very best. If you are a lineman, push a wheel barrow with two bags of cement in it. No touching does not=football in any way. In the Big XII that will happen every possession. If attending bars unrestricted the past month are any indication (and it almost certainly is) 5-10 players become infected per week. You have 120 sweaty people, side-by-side 4 days per week in the Texas sun, or the humidor inside facility practicing.By week 4, having 22 fresh faces to put on Orange will be The team. At that point, any sort of coordinated offense will look farcical. Does anybody imagine any UT coach or administrator allowing a player testing positive to play for at least a month? And that would be after consecutive negative tests. Christ, ‘The Blessed Eyes of Texas’ terrifies half of them. Just imagine what the chance of getting CoVid and missing out on an ‘all but guaranteed $Million pro career’ might do.
Now, once you have that clear in your mind, imagine playing an OU team or LSU, where nobody ever flunks out and nobody gets sick. If that doesn’t make you sick, you are truly stout.
Then get to the mundane which no fans ever see. One-hundred- forty men showering in one room. Imagine getting taped 5 days per week. Or imagine playing without it on wobbly knees and ankles. Personally, I don’t think any of these otherwise healthy young men are likely to die, but God help UT if one did. Don’t forget this either, there are one or two, maybe 10 very large players who become overcome with heat and are hospitalized or die each year. Too heavy guys have to run and sweat-off the off-season. Do that masked and it will look like a war zone. Man, I truly hate it. But until you’ve experienced it, you can’t imagine how physically demanding practice is. And how utterly dehumanizing getting into shape is. I just don’t see UT administration looking away from these realities. And I damned sure do see playing 22 walk-ons against full strength LSU or Blow-U. Just my two cents.

B1G apparently going to cancel all non conference games and play conference only schedule.

Just first step in long walk over next several weeks to no season at all.

They may as well just cancel the season. It's a logistical nightmare.

Well I just want some horsepower in case of a pit bull!!

I was in Natchez, MS a few years ago and my hotel was close to the Y. So I ran down the hill to that track there. Took a wrong turn and passed a trailer park running. 6 dogs but no pit bulls came running out! I ain’t skeered of dogs so they just ran with me. On the way back I pet one. Would have made a good video.

This is not going to get significantly better between now and the end of July. It may not get worse, but won't get a lot better. My guess is if there is a season it will be 9 games and start early Oct.

Bettting No football. UT cancelled all Greek parties. Certainly if they won’t let people hang out and party, they won’t let football players hang out and exercise In a line scrum.
Most of the sports/event cancellations are because of potential lawsuits!
Lawyers make the laws so they can get hired to defend against them. Some lawyering makes sense but not the get rich schemes they formulate. Our laws have outlawed freedom and fun.

Wednesday the Ivy Leauge cancels all fall sports. Everyone made fun of them on that Tuesday in March when they cancelled their Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments. Forty-eight hours later the entire NCAA Tournament had been cancelled.

Thursday the Big 10 cancels all OOC games. (See my post in "Leadership" thread).

Friday Pac-12 cancels all OOC games (to include Alabama-USC and Colorado-aggy).

Rumor is that ACC (except Notre Dame which has lost Wisconsin, now USC, Stanford and has had Navy Postponed) is going to be given a pass.

The SEC is driving the money train. Big 12 with only two schools making real money. Even with LSU on the schedule it seems like an obvious start to me.

I don't like it and I am hot happy about it, but I at least want something to think about in case in 48 hours the entire season is cancelled.

Evidently the decision to be made is play conference only or play in the spring. Neither is really a good option. Conference only means Texas opens with K-State followed by ou (who opens with Baylor in Norman). Since the Dallas County Judge is likely to prohibit ou in the Cotton Bowl the choices will be Jerry's place, Globe Life Park (the now old stadium which has been repurposed into a football stadium) or Norman since ou is the home team this season. Arlington isn't the Fair/Cotton Bowl, but it sure beats Norman.

If the season is moved to the spring it would start in the February-March period which would be ok for play in most of Texas (except Lubbock) and run into May-June. If the vaccine is available in suitable quantities by February, Late March would be the start which would put the conference championships in the June - July period. Stillwater (the final conference game) in June does not excite me.

I’m ok with the spring too. Just don’t cancel the whole damn thing! That’s all I’m saying.

With a full past week of every day being record cases and record hospitalizations and with the projection that next two-three weeks will be worse I just dont see how college football gets played this fall. It will not be safe, period, and any decision to play will be putting money over safety (of course with football that has always been the case given the nature of the sport and inherent danger/injuries associated with it).

If there aren't going to be any fans, nor band or cheerleaders or hardly anyone else in attendance, might as well play it in a Dallas area high school stadium and save some money.

If they do delay football, I hope they have at least Fall practice to make up for Spring practice.

I figure we lose 3 games if there is football in 2020....OU, OSU, and one other ( maybe KSU or TCU ).... 6-3 record.
These players are more concerned with the Marxist BLM movement than they are with getting ready for football.
