"Most of the 10 D.C. Circuit judges who heard arguments seemed to agree that Flynn’s prosecution on a felony charge of lying to the FBI was likely to be thrown out as a result of the Justice Department’s abrupt decision to drop the case earlier this year. But the en banc court sounded poised to part with a smaller appeals court panel that sided, 2-1, with Flynn in June in his quest to force Sullivan to immediately shut down the case.

A clear sign that Flynn was running into trouble on Tuesday came when Judge Thomas Griffith — the sole Republican appointee on the en banc court who had not already ruled in Flynn’s favor — suggested he believed a court rule that the Justice Department seized on to dismiss the case does give judges some role in making sure a case isn’t dropped for an illegitimate, political reason."

Federal appeals court skeptical of Michael Flynn's effort to immediately dismiss criminal charge

If the charge is to be dropped what's the point of Sullivan and his court continuing? So Sullivan can get him on another charge like perjury? A lawyer's assessment here would be helpful from one of you.

If they did, I was not aware. I’m very cautious on giving personal information so I think that is probably Twitter propaganda.

    From Catherine Herridge --

AG Barr promised developments as early as today in a Fox interview where he explained the probe’s two core objectives:
“...the American people need to know what actually happened. We need to get through the story of what happened in 2016 and 17. That will be done."
The second aspect of this is - if people cross the line. If people involved in that activity violated the criminal law, they will be charged.”
Barr told Sean Hannity there was some delay with COVID but he is
“satisfied with the progress” and “there are going to be significant developments before the election but we're not doing this on election schedule. We're not going to do anything inappropriate before the election, but we're not being dictated to by this schedule.

FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who expressed opposition to Trump and doctored documents submitted to the FISA court in order to spy on Trump campaign, will plead GUILTY as part of a deal with prosecutor

IG Report: FBI Doctored Evidence To Paint Carter Page As Russian Spy

Bottom line, as we have been saying for years now, the FBI altered evidence so they could get court approval to spy on the Trump campaign

And now one of those Obama officials has just plead guilty to a related felony …

As far as I know, Durham never interviewed Comey, McCabe, Strzok or Clapper

"Mr. Clinesmith had provided the unchanged C.I.A. email to Crossfire Hurricane agents and the Justice Department lawyer drafting the original wiretap application."

Which means there were other FBI/DOJ people there who also knew about the lies
    Who was it?

Perhaps the next name to watch for is Ohr
Nellie Ohr worked for FusionGPS which orchestrated the Steele Dossier.
Bruce Ohr, then a senior DOJ hand, pushed the document into the DOJ.
His household earned money from the same company who wanted to weaponize their work.
    Smells like public corruption

Clinesmith was once a part of the Mueller Team
Thus it is accurate to say a member of the Mueller Team is now a criminal
As well as it to say that there are now more convictions connected to the Russia collusion hoax than there were for Russia collusion.

Clinesmith's sentencing will be before the the judge who happens to be the current presiding judge over the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court
Be interesting to see if this means anything. Most federal judges have a low to zero tolerance of federal employees making a mockery of their courtrooms. But if he gets off light then perhaps it means something else is afoot.

Also perhaps worth noting is that there was no no plea agreement filed along with the pleadings. Article somewhat about that is below

"Did The FBI And DOJ Ask Putin’s Buddy To Help Get Trump?"

" .... The IG report added that after the meeting “one of Ohr’s junior Department colleagues who attended the meeting” asked “Ohr about why the U.S. government would support trying to work with Russian Oligarch 1”—the moniker used in the IG report to refer to one of Vladimir Putin’s closest confidants, the aluminum oligarch Oleg Deripaska.

Ohr’s reported response is shocking: “Ohr told her that Steele provided information that the Trump campaign had been corrupted by the Russians,” and that the corruption went all the way to president-elect Trump. Ohr’s junior colleague told the IG that Ohr explained “this information was ‘the basis for the [Deripaska] discussion” in the interagency meeting they had just left.

Flynn's writ denied by en banc panel of DC Cir
A pretty crazy case of procedure

Just how much evidence of prosecutorial misconduct and exculpatory evidence does Flynn need? This is DC corruption to its core.
