I don't specifcally recall farting in France. However, I spent the night in Dunkirk two nights ago, and it was 96 degrees and humid. There was no AC in the hotel or anywhere else, and the place reeked of seawater. If I did fart, it wouldn't have added much to the misery.
Showers had cold water? In Spain, the water often came from mountains and was very cold despite the hot weather in August. I took a lot of cold showers.
Everybody in the US says that, but you have to keep in mind a few things. First, electricity in Europe is expensive, and in some countries like Germany, it costs a fortune - about triple what it costs in Texas. So running something like central AC would incur a massive expense that most families simply couldn't afford. Second, though we get heat surges that are pretty uncomfortable at times, they don't last long. It'll be 95 degrees for a few days, and then it'll be 75 or below for the next several weeks. For example, where I am in the UK, it was 96 the day we arrived. Today, the high is 75, and we don't expect to go above that for the rest of the year. Third, the window for obnoxious heat is much narrower. In Texas, not having AC would be horrific almost everyday from mid-April until mid-October. Here, there's a chance for a heat surge (meaning a few days in which you wish you had AC) from about the last week of June until mid-August. Fourth, even on heat surge days, it's not bad all day. When you wake up in the morning, it'll be in the 50s. That means you have several hours when the windows can be opened letting cool air into the house. Finally, the newer houses are built to stay comfortable without AC. Walls and windows are very thick, so cool air that you let in in the morning doesn't easily get out. Furthermore, the windows have rolladens, so you can block out sunlight. Trust me. It makes an enormous difference. In our old house on the first floor, it could be 95 outside and 72 inside. Much better than a €1,000 electric bill.
So we're taking Deez, Jr. to lunch at McDonald's. (Yes, it sucks, but he has earned this with this move.) I skipped the "food" and just got a drink, and it reminded me of how much more righteous I am than you all. Can you see why?
Were YOU righteous or was MickeyDs? Did you have a choice and asked for the paper straw? That would have been righteous.
This was supposed to be a demonstration this weekend in Berlin for freedom and liberty, and against corona-related tyranny. They say over a million were expected drawing from all of Europe. They shut it down Govt in panic mode
The dad is a dumbass. Daughter on your shoulders, jaw jacking a cop. What a coward. The future of that little girl doesn't look bright

Having Northern Ireland remain part of EU in terms of trade was smart. Sort of like not applying federal taxes to Puerto Rico. I see UK didn’t go full trade separation. I would have negotiated a 3 year transition until trade deals can be put into effect with EU, US, China, etc. As such, UK needs to hew to labor and global warming restrictions dictated by the EU. Maybe it’s the same as what I wanted until the cooperation collapses and replaced with separate trade deals.
The guy who arranged the meeting with him a few years ago asked me to buy one and mail it to him, so I figured I'd get myself one. It's from the GB News channel that he works for.
Because you did meet him and told us about it I follow him whenever he is in the news And agree with him much of the time
Ok, not UK but at least EU. Work hard, party hard: Finland’s Sanna Marin faces backlash after leaked dancing video "In the leaked footage, spread over multiple clips on Instagram Stories, Marin is seen dancing exuberantly with several friends, and people are heard in the background shouting about cocaine, according to Finnish media." Too bad we didn't get invited. And the PM:
The problem isn't partying, dancing, or even the reference to coke. The true problem is a lack of diversity at the party. The video showed Finnish female, then Finnish female, then Finish dude, then Finnish female and so on. For a leader that surely touts love for all and diversity, where are the African-Finnish? Asian-Finnish? Muslin-Finnish?
Truss is my MP. She's mediocre - former Remainer who accepted Brexit, very corporate, still calls herself environmentalist but wants to expand fossil fuel use, not particularly socially conservative but rejects the trans agenda. She's not quite as arrogant and entitled as Boris was, so she probably won't do some of the stupid **** that got Boris into trouble (like breaking his own COVID rules and letting gay members his own leadership team repeatedly get slobbering drunk and grope dudes in public). Likes to ****-talk Nicola Sturgeon. Not particularly attractive but not ugly as sin.
