Speaking of USC and transfers I wonder how Bru McCoy is handling no football in 2020.

Vol Horn 4 Life Good Bye To All The Rest!

I'm not trying to poo poo the post, but I live in Thrall ISD. That Thrall team is absolute trash and Lex is 3A while Thrall is 2A. I'm pretty sure even at my age, size and physical condition I could score 4 TDs if I suited up for Lexingtion against that team. I only live 20 min drive down FM 112 from Lexington so I might drive over to watch him play. He must really have something special for UT to offer to such a small rural school kid.

One of our supposed next 2022 commits, CB Jaylon Guilbeau, put out his top 5 of Bama, LSU, Oregon, Penn State and aggy.

Why? 4.6 forty; 11.5 hundred meters; 36" vertical

Probably a great young man, but WHY when there are others we should be courting.

Something had to have been misquoted. No way he gets a sniff from Texas with that lack of speed.

Track or other timed? Low 4.6 is not bad laser timed if he has superior body control and moves. Remember LJH.

Crystal Ball for Missouri 4 Star CB Isaac Thompson to UT
Top 150 player forecast by Michigan insider who is also recruiting him. Plays Safety, QB and WR also. Might project as S at Texas as he is not blazingly fast.

Do these pay per view recruiting sites no longer provide essential information? I really don't care where some backroom geeks have a kid rated as the #3 recruit in zoom zoom county. How about useful information like 40 time, shuttle time, vertical, bench?

I remember some very highly ranked kids that weren't very good, and some borderline two stars that became captains. Also remember Scott Hill and Switzer leaking false info to reporters so everyone would go after a kid and leave their real target alone. Then their was the unrated, unranked OL from Houston who went from nowhere to #37 recruit in Texas the day Nebraska offered him.

Justic Wells on Kelvin Banks, OT, Summer Creek

Banks, the top offensive tackle in the state for 2022, is a battle developing between (aggy), Longhorns, and LSU. With 2021 looking grim for Texas at OT, this is an absolute must win for Herman and staff. The good news for the Longhorns is Banks had Texas at the top of his list when recruiting began prior to his verbal to Oklahoma State. The bad news is Texas hasn’t moved their way ahead of (aggy) or LSU since Quinn Ewers’ commitment. This recruitment will be impacted greatly by Banks’ relationship with offensive line coaches at his three favorites.

Mike Roach spreading the Cheeks information

" .... This is a player Coleman Hutzler has been in contact with for a while, and they finally pulled the trigger. Ordinarily, I'm skeptical of out of state recruits, especially those who live in an area Texas doesn't consistently recruit well in. When I talked to Cheeks a few months ago he was really high on Texas, and when I talked to him last week he was very excited about the offer. I spoke to a midwest source who told me that Cheeks has always had an interest in visiting Texas and it seems that his interest is more than normal. Schools like Michigan and Notre Dame are high up for him and Ohio State could be a game-changer if they offer. That said, I'd expect him to at least make a visit."
