    • Exempt non-NCAA championship postseason competitions that occur outside the playing season.
So what does this mean for teams that play in the fall? Would Texas have to play big 12 conference play again in the spring to qualify for the tournament?

No. I have no idea what that bullet means. But your link addresses the fall conference matches:
    - Contests conducted in the fall term for all fall sport championships that will be conducted in the spring will count toward selection into that respective championship. Sport committees are encouraged to consider all data available to them at the time of selections.

I'm guessing what the Big 12 and other conferences playing this fall will do is use the spring to make up any matches that get postponed or canceled and can't be rescheduled in the fall. The question is will that be all that is played for them? We're getting in 8 weeks of play in the fall assuming no Covid outbreaks. The spring schedule is ~10 weeks. Does that mean we get to schedule 2 weeks of spring matches to get prepared for the tourney or can we do 10 full weeks in the spring? I don't see how we can fill 10 weeks in the spring without replaying some Big 12 matches. The Big 10, Pac-12 and SEC are going to be busy playing conference matches. I don't really see the NCAA letting us playing 8 weeks in the fall and 10 weeks in the spring, would seem like an unfair advantage as well as playing an 18 week season rather than the normal 14 weeks. But they still have much to clarify.

Whatever it means it doesn't matter to Texas. The soccer situation is my only gripe with CdC.

Are you speaking about them losing?

Yeah someone who is in the higher ups said on Twitter that teams that play in the fall could possibly play eachother in the spring. So teams such as Kentucky, Florida, Texas, Baylor etc... could possibly schedule eachother and that goes for every team that played in the fall. It would give them the opportunity to get ready for the spring tournament because we shouldn't be punished for playing.

I am speaking about the program. Mindless wandering featuring a lack of creative play.

Well it would be great if we could schedule the top SEC teams in the spring. However, the SEC schools are playing only 8 matches against 4 schools as part of their fall schedule. So in my mind, they are going need to complete more conference games in the spring during the 10 week run to even crown a champion as their AQ. I think we're likely to have to make do with Texas State, Rice, UTSA and SFA in spring.

Why is Capri Davis and Naomi Cabello not on the side line? Did not see them last home game either?

Cabello is there but she sits behind the coaches with the athletic trainers and does not dress out. Nobody knows why but I assume because of an injury. As far as Capri I heard she is no longer with the program due to some personal issues she is having. Most likely still dealing with what happened to her at Nebraska but I don't know and don't want to put that out there as if I'm 100% I'm just saying what I think happened.

Statesman had a little blurb that the coach could not talk about Cabello because of HIPPA rules, but that they hoped to have her available in a couple of weeks.

Capri’s picture is still listed on the volleyball team roster. These bios are usually removed pretty promptly when a player leaves the program?? Maybe another problem??

Trust me. A reliable source said she is no longer part of the program. She may still be given time to make a decision but it's looking like she may be gone.
