These two matches had me worried. I really believed @OU was going to be our toughest road matches of the season. Texas got a very favorable draw in terms of hosting BU, KU and ISU at home and getting @OU early in the season. I think OU will get much better as their setter has more time to gel with the French hitter and get more support from the other hitters. KU upset BU in Lawrence tonight in 5. Texas is certainly in the driver's seat for the Big 12 Championship after the first weekend.
These ladies look pretty in sync to me. Logan really came out strong as a leader both yesterday and today. Jhenna's backwards set looked a bit off, sometimes too far from the net. Nalani has a powerful, but risky serve, sort of like Eggleston's. It's always a gamble. I hope to catch some games at the Erwin Center this year. I'm waiting to see how spaced out it looks on tv.
It woulda been nice to see the first 2 sets. Why can't they put it on espnnews or LHN? And the coverage in general, how about letting us watch the match instead of replays. And a broken robot would have more energy than that girl.
LHN is airing one of the two matches in 15 minutes. I'm not sure which one. ESPNU is re-airing last night's match at 11pm tonight. Schedule | Watch ESPN
