A friend at my church told me a week or so ago that he was born in NY in 1972. His dad moved the family to PA in 1976, and then to Texas in 1980, where they have resided since (both him and his parents). His dad got an unsolicited ballot from NY in the mail.

So many people whining about Abbot's proclamation yesterday. They all seem to miss the irony that those satellite drop-box locations were likely farther away than their local precinct polling location AND that, with 17 days of early voting, most early voters won't have a line to stand in.

The other delicious irony is that they are wanting to drop ballots off because they...wait for it...don't trust the mail.

But somehow, an all-mailed election process is supposed to be a good thing...

The Postal Workers Union supports Biden

"A New Jersey postal worker was arrested Wednesday for dumping almost a hundred mail-in ballots into dumpsters in multiple towns.

The Justice Department charged Nicholas Beauchene, a 26-year-old mail carrier with "one count of delay, secretion, or detention of mail and one count of obstruction of mail" for discarding approximately 1,875 pieces of mail on his route. The discarded mail included "99 general election ballots" and was recovered from dumpsters in two different New Jersey townships....."

That was in Franklin County (Columbus) apparently from a "computer glitch"
My wife and I received ours with no problems. We voted and I took them straight to the Election Commission and put them in the drop box in front of the building. Pretty painless. This is the 1st time I voted absentee as a civilian. I preferred it. You get to see who is running for what office (local and state) and do a little research before voting.

We need to set up time lapse cameras outside of the polling stations. That will likely show that for 12 days of early voting, ...no lines. 10 minute voting process.. But on the last day to vote...long lines. I'm getting a bunch of those "Make a Plan" feeds on FB. As if "don't wait until the last minute" needs a "plan" to be able to execute.

My neighbor in Austin just texted me a picture of a broken in mailbox. I live in LJ, he showed Me the pic of open mailboxes for at least 8 homes. Another 8 on the other side.

    Joe,

A former girl friend here in Houston planned to vote early but she got FOUR mailin ballots. Then again, my children's grandmother got two, but she's been dead for over a decade. Think I would get in trouble for dropping both off on separate days?

We were not sure everyone that was running for local/state offices. It gave us a chance to research them a little. I'm sure I've seen that somewhere....

The internet has been around for a long time. Certainly through many previous elections. Did you not know how to research. For instance your state rep or sec of agriculture? Or any local race?
Still not sure how voting absentee helped
Either you cared to learn or you didn't

No no That must be fake news. Husker and the entire DMC insist there is no evidence things that could result in voter fraud exist.

We know this is going on
The question is what can we and others do to stop the DMC from stealing this?

" ... a September 2020 study revealed that 353 U.S. counties had 1.8 million more registered voters than eligible voting-age citizens. In other words, the registration rates of those counties exceeded 100% of eligible voters. The study found eight states showing state-wide registration rates exceeding 100%: Alaska, Colorado, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Vermont...."

What will they do about it? The DMC whines if voter registrations are purged of even dead voters.
