We are definitely living in a litigious society.

I didn't see exactly what the black players are saying was racist behavior by Ferentz

I would love to see the lawsuit that declares they weren't paid as much as they could have gotten at Ohio State, State Penn, FSU. Can't wait to see James Franklon's deposition - "Quite frankly we didn't think he was good enough out of HS to warrant top dollar, so he accepted third tier money for second tier performance. I think Indiana offered him more than Iowa, but he thought Iowa was a better program."

Translation: "We want free money and free stuff to anyone who looks like me".

School pres should take a dump, wipe his *** with the demand letter, and sent it back to them.

"and tuition waivers for any Black athlete who didn’t graduate,"

I am guessing this sums it up...not good enough for the next level and couldn't be bothered enough to plan for the future to show in classroom environs either. In other words...cannot hack it in the real world, so go looking for handouts.

It's the start of reparations. UT would probably settle with the players for a few hundred thou a piece, give them all a statue around the stadium, and think it got a good deal.

What makes it worse is that there's a whole program to drag these 700 SAT scoring, top 93% of their class ranking, jocks across the finish line, or at least keep them eligible for another semester.

Joke programs like Sports Management, compliant teachers who give inflated grades, old tests and reports, and tutors, lots of tutors who actually do the work, and often take the tests too.

Worst part is when you hear about a disgruntled (love that word) tutor who tried their best to help the player, and instead of being thanked and respected for their help, gets treated like trash, or gets grab assed by some jock who's used to being able to do that.

North Caroline got into some trouble with that a few years ago, first tried to claim the tutor was crazy, then when sued recanted their baseless accusations of metal illness, and went to the Sgt. Schluz defense of "I know nothing".

Thankfully for them NC is too big to fail for the NCAA, so I think Northeast Alcorn State got two scholarships taken away instead.

It looks like they’re suing because they “couldn’t be themselves”. The current ridiculous demands of some black folks blaming others for their failures now extends to *****-***-fools that had discipline forced on them against their will, and contrary to their upbringing.

On the other hand, I support them 100% for the total *** kicking Ferentz put on the horns in the Freedom Bowl. It was something like 55 to 10. What a racist Fetentz is!

It's to the point where I'm cool with the NCAA abolishing athletic scholarships. This has gotten out of hand on so many levels.

Oh yeah, Chuck Long was the culprit I was thinking of.

You could take all the fans at that game, put them in House Field, and I'm not sure they would fill up one side.

Season ticket holders and alums were not offered the opportunity to purchase tickets. Probably the cheapest bowl ticket I've bought.

What the hell does that mean? I hear that a lot (and yes, pretty frequently from black athletes but also from all kinds of prima donna celebrities). It seems like people think that if you have to follow professional or cultural rules about what you say or how you look that you're being subjected to some kind of injustice. When did that become a thing? Yeah, you have to look and behave differently according to the situation. I can fart audibly in my own home. I didn't do that in court. That's not an injustice. It's being an adult.

Yes, the II's is a totally different person while at home versus in the hospital boardroom. I think somebody owes me reparations.

Yep, and I'm coming after Travis County to compensate me for all those times I had to clench my sphincter in the courtroom. Justice has to be served.

I think you're going to see a lot more of this sort of thing against colleges and universities over the coming years. The reason why is the public statements the idiots who run these places make. They'll publicly state how systemically racist the universities are and have been and how they don't treat "people of color" (whatever that means) fairly.

They think they're just self-flagellating to look righteous among other leftists. However, what they don't always realize is that they are sometimes saying legally incriminating things (and most of them aren't even true). Well, if you keep telling people that you're racist, eventually people will start to believe you, and anyone from a protected class who felt even somewhat slighted might just sue your ***. After all, racial discrimination is against the law.
