Discussion this Wednesday morning on radio had Spinozi telling Tulsa World Sports beat writer that OSU will " BEAT TEXAS TO DEATH"!
He figures that OSU is allowing 12 points a game and TEXAS is allowing 32 points. And OSU is the stingiest with total yards.
Then there's the revenge factor for the OSU loss in Austin last year.
They also discussed Gundy having to now line up against his ex- OC. Gundy having a lot of respect for the work and efforts of Mike Yurcich.
Anyway, all I can say is, a VERY SENIOR AND SEASONED OSU TEAM is coming after TEXAS Saturday at 3 CST.
TOM HERMAN BETTER BRING HIS A+GAME.
    A. NO SLOW STARTS ...NO WAITING TILL THE END OF THE GAME FOR A FURIOUS COMEBACK.
    B. NO MAJOR PENALTIES...OSU GETS HOME COOKING AT HOME.
DISCIPLINED FOOTBALL FOR 60 FULL MINUTES. PROTECT SAM!
    C. OFFENSIVE LINE HAS TO BLOCK EVERY DOWN AND PROVIDE THE BEST RUN BLOCKING WE'VE SEEN ALL YEAR. KEEP THE DEFENSE OFF THE FIELD.
    D. DEFENSIVE LINE PLAY WITH THE BEST ROLLING AND SPIN MOVED GETTING OFF BLOCKS. ITS PAST TIME FOR KEONDRE COBURN TO HAVE HIS BREAKOUT GAME. NEED A LOT OF LOOPING AND STUNTING.
    E. GREAT SPECIAL TEAMS IN ALL PHASES. SOLID BLOCKING FOR THE FG KICKER AND PUNTER.
In my humble opinion, THIS is the toughest game left on the schedule. Win here and the season turns around. LOSE AND???....
    MAKE IT HAPPEN TEXAS

Your saying if this team completely changes who and what it has been through first five games and completely changes what it thus far has shown it can and will do in terms of mental mistakes and undisciplined play, then maybe Texas can win.

Yeah, pass me some of what your drinking.

TH has been best at pulling the upset. Beating teams no one thinks we'll win. It could happen this week. But I just can't see it because Gundy is not looking past this game.

Cary - Outside a couple of upset bowl wins, TH has not duplicated the upset win total he had at UH - IMHO.

Suspect Gundy and 'Pokes have had this game circled for a long time... we will get their A game. Horns better play their best game of the year or this one could get ugly....

I heard on the radio today Herman is 11-9 as an underdog head coach. I don't know what national averages are on underdogs, but that seems slightly above average to me.

He's just the kind of guy who coaches his teams to the competition which means I suspect the game will be a pretty good one with winning or losing being a tossup just like every other game.

I won't watch it but I would not be surprised, in the least, if Texas wins this game. Herman, Mack, they've both ridden the same lazy and entitled wave at Texas and they only get up and fight when their backs are against the wall. I'm anticipating a Texas win in this one actually.... and then I'm expecting a backhanded interview with Herman where he just won't be able to resist a jab like... "This team never gave up even though some of our fans have.".

Then I'm expecting us to lose to WVU or Kansas or some other school we shouldn't and go right back to square one. Get this guy the hell out of here.

Been listening to the Morning Show since Mon. to today Wen. No mention of the failed prediction from Spinozi, but intense amounts of LAMENT. Instead of giving any kind of credit to TEXAS for the win, they only weep and wail that OSU GAVE THE GAME AWAY!

I don't think anyone would disagree with the sentiment that OK State was their own worst enemy on Saturday, outside of maybe Ossai. I tend to point fingers at Texas whenever we lose as well.

Eh, we stopped them plenty too. There were a lot of offensive possessions in this game. They got 16 total possessions in the game (not counting the 1-play kneel down to end the first half), so they basically scored 2 points per possession which is below average.

They scored 10 points total on 9 drives (only 2 of them were turnovers) in the 2nd half plus OT.

Obviously our offense did pretty poorly by most of these metrics too, although it's worth noting the kickoff return TD gave them an extra possession and caused us to miss one. They stopped us effectively for most of the game. But it's fair to note that we stopped them plenty as well, both with turnovers and by forcing punts.
