Virginia
Like North Carolina and Colorado, white voters, and particularly white, working-class voters, are over-performing in EV
According to CNN exit polls from 2016, white voters cast 67% of all votes in Virginia. The breakdown was --
Whites with a college degree 38%
Non-college whites 29%
As of today, whites have cast 78% of all the EV. Broken down by education:
Whites early voters with a college degree 35.6%
Non-college whites 42.5%
In sum, while the college-educated white vote is down somewhat, the white, working-class early voters are way up -- from 29% in 2016 to 42.5% as of today. That's a big jump and its good news for Trump as well as the down-ballot races
These 3 states indicate there is a surge by white voters, in particular a surge of working-class white voters, that is not properly reflected in the polling.
And this surge makes NC, VA and Colorado all in play.
