That has nothing to do with what you posted. You pointed out about the Presidential change and COVID. And I did not call you insane.

No you are part of a health plan that you paid for through your service to our country. Given its issues which are reprehensible in my view, no thanks to everyone being in one consolidated VA system.

Nothing is free. I am amazed at how many people actually buy this BS. Next comes free college, free medicine and free housing! Wait, who took my paycheck dude?

I have heard the horror stories in the VA system but my experience has been top notch. I have not had really any complaints. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

I wish all veterans had the same experience. I think it mostly has to do with where you live. I think veterans should be allowed to get care wherever they choose is best for them.

What does he know? He's just a Senator. It's not like he's a Biden team Covid advisor doctor who is also an expert on the economic affects of shutdowns.

I asked Bubba this already, but who pays hospitals for treating patients coded as having COVID? Who? Then, why?

The majority of patients who are critically ill are Medicare. The older you are, the more likely you end up in the ICU.

Denmark citizens have been protesting for over a week against a mandatory vaccine law, I don't know the details but apparently today the effort to push this law through was abandoned so hooray for the people!

What is wrong with these ******* politicians doing this?

Let me repeat this. 60% of deaths are nursing home patients. Avg lifespan in a nursing home is 6 months. Thus, 60% of deaths don’t even round up to a year.

    4th_floor Dude, where's my laptop?

I grew up west of Ft Worth and we used to get the Startlegram. It wasn't a bad paper back then. But as Dems went left, so did the Startlegram. My parents finally ran out of fish to wrap in the mid 70s and cancelled it.

We don't know these things. The vaccine may last a season, five years or forever.

Who is the primary payer? Insurance? I really don't know and am curious.

With the case increase in Texas over the last week, I would like to know if the PCR cycles have increased or stayed the same.

Running a PCR test 30 cycles gives reliable results. Running 40 cycles is clearly too many. In the middle is marginally too sensitive for testing for live virus. This can affect the case reports.

Also, duplicate tests are not flagged or recorded as such. Many people are being tested multiple times. So if you get 2-3 positives, they all count on the report as individual. This is a source of recording error.

We already have the recent claim that Harris County was going to randomly knock on doors demanding blood...

When I saw that over the weekend, my comment to mom was that anybody coming to the door wanting blood gets a rousing "Kiss my ***" followed by the door being shut in their face.

Rand Paul also speaks truth about mandatory mask policies not working. Never in this pandemic have masks been required more, yet the infection rates are higher than before.

There are still 15,000 COVID deaths in the CDC database that haven't been reported by states. This has come down drastically over the last 2 weeks from almost 40,000. Half the deaths being reported over the last 2 weeks have been from this surplus and occurred as far back as July.

The cases increasing is definitely real in the MidWest since they never were hit in the previous 2 national peaks.
