The athletic department needs the pay per view cash too much, plus the sale of copies so that every time someone gets downm they can watch it again.

Until he signs with someone else ou is in the picture.

Marvin Mimms was dead set on going to Stanford (even announcing he had shut down his recruiting) - until Riley showed up at Lone Star High School one day.

The product on the field and Ewers de committing has hurt here. But he's like Cook this year, he has been all UT for ages so we'll see.

Mensa's arrogance and the offense to this point.

Yes TH is not a solid recruiter but its more about the product he produces. Thinking back to UH time, without Ed Oliver following his high school coach to UH, tommy would not have been the golden boy. His desire to have that running QB which constantly puts the main cog of the offense in harms way is just mind boggling. Yes Ehlinger is very tough and has held his own you cant keep running the QB because your o or your ol suck!! The brockermeyers and ewers simply made a business decision and I would have done the same thing.

We're like 0-100 head to head against Ohio State the last 10 yrs. They recruit Tex better than we do lol. Since 2017 they have five 5* kids from Tx. UT has 4. Let that sink in.

I would suggest Ewers comment about going somewhere where the coaches were aligned and working well together...or maybe it was coaches that know what they're doing...that comment told me he saw something in the coaching staff he didn't trust. That lays right on Herman's shoulders.

I believe it was on Rivals. Mentions he wants to play for a championship. Wants to play for coaches that will develop him (know what they are doing) . He can do that ar Ohio State. Or he can play here with hermie and struggle against the likes of bailor and tcu.

With the offering of a 2nd QB in 2 weeks it seems pretty indicative that mensa isn't mending fences with Ewers.

This is just appalling. So sick of our boys from texas dissing the flagship university of texas.
I suppose we are fortunate that the two and three star players want to come here.
    Let's be thankful for that.

Good question^^^. the osu is killing it in Texas while the flagship University in Texas is getting their recruiting *** handed to them on a platter.

WTF is going on in TH's recruiting room?

My bama buddy texted me last night and has it all figured out. He claims that TH is still on OSU payroll and was sent to TX as a mole. All this time he has been funneling players back to Columbus for his buddy Ryan Day. It seems to be working for them. I hope they are paying TH a lot of money! :coolnana:

The same thing that is happening on the field. Mediocrity and just barely getting it done half-assed. The question I have is how we end up with back to back coaches like Charlie and Tommy. That's what's really wrong with this program.
