A great example of the failure of the neighborhood kids to properly adjust another kid.

If lockdowns and masks worked there wouldn't have been recent peaks all over the US and Europe. There are multiple cases showing they don't work. Government tyranny ruins lives, not saves lives.

And travelhorn, all those states have had relatively aggressive restrictions on people including mask mandates. They don't show any affect.

At what point can everyone agree the science shows they don't work.

Long before he became a political figure and back when he was an obnoxious sports commentator with an out-of-work porn star mustache, anybody could tell Olbermann was a colossal jackass with delusions of grandeur and self-importance.

Yeah, thanks for being "The Lead" on that, CNN. Pretty sure reasonable Americans knew this back in May.

They just don't care. She should be removed from that office or, somehow, her vote nullified, but nothing will happen.

Yep, the examples abound. And, without even checking, I'll bet they are all Democrats.

You would think ONE Dem would criticize the actions if these hypocrites.

But, unlike RINOs, that is what Dems do best. They stick together no matter how absurd things get.

There is no question they are elitists preying upon weak minds who need to hear their empty virtue signaling. It's pathetic.

It's more important to accuse Republicans of Xenophobia or racism than it is to actually acknowledge the truth and protect our country.

Remember, it is more important to throw open the doors to our borders for uneducated, Catholic, homophobic and misogynistic illegal aliens from Latin America (and spare me the dissent; my Father was from Cuba and I've lived in South Texas since 1970. IT'S TRUE) and religious fundamentalists from threatening or unstable ME countries knowing they too are religious zealots, homophobes and misogynists or protecting China, the world's biggest enemy as they are a communist nation.

This is why I preferred Trump. There was no ambiguity or BS in his world view.

    I got one more:

@SabreHorn Is this the real Baton Rouge country club?

I have never been to Baton Rouge Country Club, only The Country Club. I would think that the governor would be at The Country Club rather than Baton Rouge Country Club. Century old traditions can change, but I think this is one that would not. As a reference, my good friend sold his home in The Country Club to Nick Saban to lure him to LSU. That is one of the reasons that Terry loved Baton Rouge so much.

So many lines here that would get me banned, but I've always believed that The Country Club was the most exclusive neighborhood in the South. When Percy Miller bought a house there (with cash), it sent shock waves throughout the South.

He, by the way, is one of the smartest people I've ever met or negotiated with. Truly a self made man, and an inspiring story.

That is one awesome summation of the issues, and precisely the approach we should be taking in response to covid.
