Biden Brain Trust: Forget the Billionaires, Guillotine the Corporations

"charters that government officials could revoke for alleged misbehavior"

"The bill would also create the Office of United States Corporations at the Department of Commerce, which would have the authority to punish any company deemed insufficiently solicitous to stakeholder interests.

The legislation invites state attorneys general to petition the director of the Office of Corporations with the names of firms that they consider unworthy. The director would then have it in her power to revoke the charter of any corporation, giving the company in question one year until its ability to operate expires. The only escape from the verdict of the Office of Corporations would, apparently, be a direct appeal to Congress. Warren’s office describes the process by which a company would use its one-year countdown-to-destruction “to make the case to Congress that it should retain its charter.” This special act of Congress, setting aside a particular charter revocation, would be a sort of reverse Bill of Attainder for the corporation in question."

This is it folks; pure communism or government power without accountability. This is what those 77 million morons (minus OU Bubba and Seattle because I like you guys) voted for.

I would say it like this. 60 million Americans voted for plus 15 million dead ancestors or fictitious voters. This is a coup.

Dianne Feinstein Won't Seek Senate Judiciary Leadership After Backlash

When Feinstein is seen as a moderate who must be crushed then it is time to RESIST AND PERSIST against the cancer that is totalitarian socialism. These sick, vile people mean to rule with an iron fist. They were offended by the "non-answers" given by Barrett and outraged that Feinstein didn't force their views upon her by insisting that Barrett try a case without a pleading or evidence.

IT IS A NATIONAL DISASTER THAT TRUMP LOST because the alternative will destroy our freedoms. There is no doubt about what is intended by these communist monsters.

    Yes, I said it. COMMUNISTS.

    Because they act that way.

Mark my words; they fully intend on destroying everything we know of our country in the most ruthless power hungry manner imaginable.

And yet we must endure the arrogance of the nobody's out there who believe their virtue signaling is a sign of progressive superiority.

    It's not.

It is a sign of bowing down to their masters.

That has been so discredited. The only documented dead person that voted was a Republican in Luzerne County Pennsylvania. A lady passed and her husband voted with her absentee ballot.

    No need for worries.
    It’s not going to happen.
    1. Corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and other entities are creations of state laws.
    2. This will never pass.
    3. Of course Biden will throw a few bones to the left wing of his coalition party. But, Biden himself is a corporate *****, with special affection for the pharmaceutical and insurance industries.
    4. Back to number 1, Biden is a Delaware guy. He will protect his home state. Delaware’s main interests are corporate. Then, behind corporations generally in Delaware, there is the chemical business.

Nope. The power hungry sick AOC et al know exactly what they want to do and it's all over the news. I get that you have a soft spot for them as do many people on the right for Trump. But look at the list:

    1) Reparations
    2) Student Debt cancellation
    3) Open borders
    4) Defund the police
    5) White privilege campaign
    6) Green deal
    7) Gun control
    8) Medicare for all

It is patently obvious that anyone questioning them is to be destroyed, whether politically or in their personal life (career). The cancel culture is a Liberal construct and it is backed by Twitter and Facebook censuring as they please.

I don't understand why you can't see this.

    4th_floor Dude, where's my laptop?

Items 1) , 2) and 3) will be done by executive order. Item 4) is unpopular and won't be done by the feds. Item 7) will resume a gradual move to the left. The other items are mostly fund raising tools. Does anyone in the congress or courts have the fortitude or desire to push back? Since the swamp has apparently won, do we go back to going along to get along and keep the gravy train moving? Since we have elected a greedy, corrupt life long politician who has enriched himself and his family greatly, I can't see any other outcome.

From the minds of progressive economic genius:

AOC and Ilhan Omar sign petition calling on Biden not to give Bruce Reed administration role

"They say Mr Reed is a "deficit hawk" who presided over social security and Medicare cuts during the Obama years.

Following the news that Mr Reed was the frontrunner to take up the OMB role, Justice Democrats, a political action committee, launched a petition calling on the Biden/Harris transition team to "prioritize working people, not Wall Street deficit scaremongers".

"Joe Biden must not repeat Obama’s mistake," the petition reads. "Rejecting Reed will be a major test for the soul of the Biden presidency."

These geniuses just want to keep printing more money. That's how they plan on "achieving" their goals. This is the future of Liberalism and it's here now.

@bystander You are waaaaayyyy too paranoid of the AOC crowd. AOC deserves criticism but all the evidence to date of Biden getting the Dem nomination, cabinet nominees so far, Pelosi maintaining Dem House leadership...over and over and over says your fears are unfounded.

Last week the extreme left of the Democrat party had a big PC to demand progressive administration. What has Biden announced so far? A very centrist administration that is so centered that idiots like Rubio are criticizing them for being center enough to preside slowly over our American demise. Even the Climate Czar John Kerry isn't as radical as those left extremists prefer, as that's the most far left person in the administration and he's in a made up position.

Capitalism 'will collapse on itself' without more empathy and love: Scott Galloway

“We are barreling towards a nation with three million lords being served by 350 million serfs,” NYU Stern School of Business professor Scott Galloway told Yahoo Finance Live."

But yeah, let's make legal 11 million uneducated illegal aliens from Mexico and throw the gates open for more.

"We don't like to say this out loud, but I feel as if this pandemic has largely been invented for taking the top 10% into the top 1%, and taking the rest of the 90% downward,” Galloway said."

An invention? Wait, I thought Liberals said this was real man... huh...

"We've decided to protect corporations, not people. Capitalism is literally collapsing on itself unless it rebuilds that pillar of empathy,” which Galloway says in turn supports capitalism."

So let all the corporations fail and pay people direct. Sounds like serfdom to me...

"Galloway proposes creative destruction that lets failing business fail while protecting people who lose jobs."

Same thing... pay people directly from the Government and destroy the job making machine.

    Empathy and love.

This guy is a teaching our children... at NYU... a self-important university that is creating little totalitarian monsters.

Lawmakers to Biden: ‘Step it up’ on Cabinet diversity

Anyone who thinks this country is being run by merit is an idiot. This is pure social engineering and it's not a matter that a diverse human being cannot get to the right answer or be competent. It's that these diverse human beings are activists and hate our country. That is not competence; that is destruction. They flat out do not care about anything but what happens in their own mind and the national debt, the feudal society that is being created by the open border campaign, the vilification of white people (white privilege campaign) and their apparent belief that printing money is their right regardless of it's impact is the evidence that they are in fact incompetent.

So, twenty years later... the Taliban is still a force but no in power. Hussein is gone. Iraq is a power but did Obama help them along or did he neuter them further? What is the real story there?

Iraq is not a threat from where I sit. As for Afghanistan, it's virtually ungovernable and how do you really defeat people who will live in caves or are protected by warlords and corrupt and/or fearful governments (Pakistan)? All we can do in the end is let the despots of the world know that they will be removed. We can't occupy. We can't truly change their culture. They will always be what they are.

So is the world better off or not?

And remember, Hillary voted for the resolution. Obama skewered her over it, then later endorsed her as President, while ignoring the fact the many on the Left wanted Bush hung for the war even though Congress passed the resolution. In fact, Bush and the Obama's are BFF's. What does it all mean? Well to me, it means that you personally care about the cost. Neither Obama, Hillary or Bush do.

Is a politician representing themself or their constituents when they vote?

  28. bystander

I've thought about that a few times. We're a representative republic or something like that aren't we? Theoretically we want them to vote our wishes but must trust their judgment at times with new situations. We like to send a wise person who can handle pressure, think on their feet, horse-trade and represent our concerns. If we are flooded with folks who believe aborting a viable baby in the womb is murder then we might want our representative to change our laws. And it doesn't have to be a religion versus state issue.

It's about life or death but some people insist it's lifeless tissue. Well, is that about God or about science?

Sorry, I'm not following. Do you think our representatives should vote their own views for every issue disregarding their constituents or is it OK to balance your own vs. their views when considering your vote? It sounds like you want them to balance their own conclusions with the wishes of their constituents. Couldn't that mean voting against your own personal views at times, like abortion?
