What's next ? Rapping? The "Urbanization of Sports"? More like the bastardization of sports. The Ancient Greeks want their festival back.
How's for adding skydiving? Would there be a landing site near the judges table? How would they score a jumper whose chute doesn't open?.....is that a "fault" or zero score or disqualification? I don't think the poor schmuck would get a do over jump.
There are several that I don't think qualify as an Olympic sport. Rhythmic gymnastics or dancing needs to go. Also, some of the events in the regular gymnastics, as well as all synchronized swimming, and the like. Next they will want to add activities like glee club (or call it synchronized singing), portrait painting, pottery, and speech making. Cat bathing as well as alligator or crocodile wrestling might be somewhat entertaining, but don't add competitive geography.
If they decide to make catnapping an Olympic sport, I'd like to enter my cat. He may not have invented the cat nap, but he is perfecting it. And I could use the endorsement money he would bring in after winning the Gold.
