    No, not that James Street.

I'm going to my buddy's house in Geneva, IL on James Street. What do ya know?

    That is all.

    Sombrero Boy says Hook 'em.

Just saw this... yes, hope you were aware Streets can be slick this time of year.

Dont think I ever mentioned this on HF before.... of all people available at the time, James Street was the guest speaker at my HS post-season football banquet late Nov. early Dec. 1969.

I was on JV as a Soph. that fall. I was in shock and awe at the time they got HIM! I have his autograph on my dinner program to prove it. Keep it with other Horn memorabilia I have.

He was very friendly and humble.

I mentioned this before but was unknowingly standing near James Street at Rice Reckling Park. One of his younger sons was on the team. Didn’t notice him until late in the game when the stands were beginning to empty out. I was like 3 feet away from him. There was just an awesome presence about him.

Sat next to James at the Disch for a game, might have been an exhibition. Didn't recognize him at first, seats were unassigned. Can't remember details except he was friendly and i didn't try to invade his space, all said he was a really nice guy!!

I am in the picture of James and DKR in the Cotton Bowl. My family was sitting in the next to top row, right next to the left scoreboard standard. Linda Kaye took the photo.

I was headed up that way, but ended up on the wrong plane. Landed in Honolulu just in time to catch the game on TV. Didn't need the winter gear I brought with me.
