Sorry if this should be in different forum - wasn’t sure

So I told myself I would not be getting season tickets while Herman was still here! Now I am very excited about the future of the Horns and I want to show my support on the field

I have never had season tickets before and wondering the best way to get them. I am an alumni. Should I:
    1) but through texassports.com
    2) go through longhorn foundation
    3) Texas exes?
    4) other

Wasn’t sure if all the same or benefit of going certain way. I value inputs here! Thanks In advance

I suggest going through The Longhorn Foundation 512-471-4439.

They may transfer you to the ticket office, but either can explain to you the point system. I have only been a season ticket holder for 50years, and I still don't understand the "point" system.

I haven't been to a home game in years, so other's may have better info than me. But when I when I was going, there were always plenty of good seats available on the street, often for less than face value.

How many tickets are you wanting? If it's just two, I'd just scalp for the games you want, and then are not committed to going to every game or trying to sell them.

If it's 4 or more, and you all want to sit together, it may be different. But I'd expect, as a new buyer, that you'll get poor seats, probably way up high in the upper west side deck, where the sight lines are terrible, plus you have to dodge the blimps, you're up so high.

Thanks. Yes it has always been a back and forth on whether I just want to buy single games here and there or go in and have season tickets. I am getting older and kids are growing up and have just always wanted to have season tickets.

I have been contacted by longhorn foundation and Texas exes a number of times and just never got into it really. But thought it is about that time as I am getting older and more established

I think I will give longhorn foundation a call and just get the details! Sounds like maybe the best route people go through that are season ticket holders!

There are definite advantages to having season tickets, and more drawbacks. If you aren't sure, you may be able to purchase 2 seats for the season from a season ticket holder that is thinking of downsizing. A friend of mine had six, he passed away, and she only wants to keep four. The possibility of paying her instead of the school won't get you any points, but will get you much better seats for the same money.

This is what I did when I lived in Austin. Some guy found out I was a psycho UT fan and sold me Sec 2 row 30?? Seats for face value for a year.

Season ticket holder for 35 years. If you factor in the donation it is more expensive than buying elsewhere but you are guaranteed seats among us diehards

Based on the new 2021 DKR chart there are more $199 Kickstarter tix in many sections.

Join LHF for $50 minimum select the $199 tix in the sections and rows alotted.

two seats for all 6 home games for $450 = $36 per game.

    Upgrade as you decide.

    Longhorn Foundation - Longhorn Foundation

Keep in mind that none of us knows what the season will hold. We were promised our old seats back this year, but if covid & the governor reduces the attendance and requires the stupid *** six foot rule, who knows.

They have had people drop their tickets for various reasons or upgrade, downgrade. None of that may be figured out until summer.

It is best that you join The Longhorn Foundation now, get on the list, and decide what you want to do when the time comes.

Look for the seating charts prices by tiers. I think you are looking for tier 5
