Hope this is a popular sentiment-
"I honestly think bringing him is the best thing that ever happened to Texas," he said. "As you can see what coach Sark did at Alabama, he knows how to get his guys the ball."

The issue now might be who to accept, and who to turn away. No kidding. That exhibition last night might do more for recruiting that even the hiring of Meyer might have done...

This is exactly why I kept saying that Herman had to go all last season. Besides the losses, we needed to get back to excellent recruiting. Everything is going as planned:
    1) great coach coming in
    2) recruiting turn around (I feel it)
    3) found a hot new QB
    4) better disciplined team (I feel it)
    5) TX high school coaches will give UT more respect (I feel it)
    6) Herman's ship was sinking
    7) new excitement.
    8) cherry pick out of state recruits

They often react to the truth in that fashion.

Want to watch them really freak out? Tell them the dead dogs cannot see the scoreboard.

Never caught one, but do Halibut really flop? Know they come up from pretty deep so their eyes might be popping out of their head.

We don't know if we have a hot new QB yet. Remember how Fields looked against Clemson. Part of that was Ryan Day out-smarting Venables, so Fields had more time. And Fields did play really well.

Fast-forward to Monday night. Fields didn't make many big plays.

Casey played against maybe the worst team we played all season. Yes, he looked good but I would pump the brakes and give Sark time to get the QBs ready.

We don't have a QB on campus that has a single start in college. If the stadiums are full of fans in the fall, that will bring back a challenge for young QBs in hostile road games.

As a fish, aggy is more like the mudcat.

You know - the catfish that mostly hangs around the bottom in the mud....

I eat sheaphead (what we called them growing up... no "s"... wonder where that came from?). Pretty tasty with the right sauce!

Every single aggy I know is squirming right now. The envy is mostly oozing out in the form of making fun of UT for not having Bama talent.

Did anyone else think about Jordan Whittington being our Devonta Smith while watching Alabama's offensive game plan vs OSU? Of course, I had a glass of Kool-Aid in my hand at the time. Just wondering if I'm on point with that thought?????

No. Smith > Whittington. Probably going to have to see Whittington actually play a season to see how good he is.

We can hope! I have orange koolaid in hand and burnt orange sunglasses on my face, just like I do every time we hire a new coach.
