Give Ed a break; having to host a callin show with Lynn Amadee will do that to you, and cause you to lose track of what's truth and what's myth.

He should have had time to recover a tiny bit of sense by now... if he ever had any to start with, which I doubt.

"Idoit" really doesn't fit Ed though. For decades the first descriptor that has come to my mind is "buffoon".

This may be so, but you’ve never laughed until you hear Ed tell stories on Mookie Blaylock.

I think this should have been part of the otherwise impressive bullet point presentation above by Vino

"It's our school song and we will sing it proudly."

He won me over with just that statement. That's what a coach should do, lay down the rules clearly and unequivocally. Herman couldn't or wouldn't do it. Herman was a whimp who wanted his players to like him and didn't want to hurt their feelings. College kids need direction and sounds like Sarkisian will provide it. I'm all in.

I am optimistic about this hire. I hope he gets it done and gets it done with class.
We have talent. Understanding there is a learning curve on new schemes, I think there is a possibility of a good season this year.
Also, if we can have “Dicker the Kicker” , we can have “Sark the Shark”. Just saying.

I watched a YouTube video last night where some guy was breaking down the Bama offense against aOSU and showing how hard it is to defend because of the various sets and motion - great personnel too

I'm all excited for Sark and the offense...
But I want a team with a tough, stingy, hard-nosed defense. I hope we get that side of the ball right.

    Texanne,
Any truth to the rumor that DKR has been renamed to the Sark Tank.

I think most people prefer single syllables in sports, especially if it's notable.
    Mack
    Earl
    Vince
    Royal (pronounced roil lol)
    Sam
    Colt
    O
    Roy
    Lam
    Ham
    Quan
    Ship

We add second syllables as necessary (they gen sound cool)
    Bijan
    Ricky
    Redding
    Major
    Jammer
    Kiki
    Vasher
    Worster
    DJ

Long a-- names get a nickname.
    Hack
    Velt
    Sark

Though it's true that I'll likely skip the shark references myself. lol :ousucksnana:
