That's interesting. She wasn't hot in high school, but she wasn't ugly. Plenty of guys would have at least considered her. Even now, she's not ugly in the face when she smiles. She doesn't wear much makeup and has the short hair, but she could be decent looking (to us) if she really wanted to be. Like most lesbians I've seen and known, she doesn't try to look attractive to dudes, and I get that. For whatever reason what appeals to them doesn't seem to be the same thing as what appeals to us. Anatomically, it may be, but in terms of hair, makeup, etc., it doesn't seem to be at least in general. I've seen some exceptions. For example, I've seen Tammy Bruce look attractive, and of course, Ellen Degeneres's wife is pretty hot. However, there seems to be a different look that they tend to go for. Let's be honest. Some of us may ridicule Maddow's looks, but what's really unappealing about her is her politics and even more than that, her attitude. She's extremely smug and sanctimonious, and that's a major turnoff. I wouldn't like a superficially attractive conservative who had her attitude.
For nearly 7 months, cities in the US were under siege and on fire with riots and looting yet the WAPO had nothing to say about it. Then some white folks "did some things" in one single day and suddenly it's Hezbollah! Nancy says .....
Journalisming. We decide what you should see is the new journalisming. It used to be, we will present everything and you decide. That's so passé.
Excellent observation, hic. The news should report the facts - who, what, when, where, and how - and let us evaluate the interpretation. I don't need the MSM to give me their slanted opinion as though it were fact - it's only their spin.
From USA today: But if we continue at our current trajectory, will will surpass 100 million before 100 days have passed.
No presidential candidate in history has gotten more media help. That includes Barack Obama, who for 8 years never had a dry testicle, thanks to the media.
It's like they are working together and someone else is the actual one in power. It reminds me of a Philip K Dick novel called A Penultimate Truth where the President is a robot and has been for sometime. There is a team of speech writers who funnel in speeches for TV appearances. Those in power are never identified but there is a bureaucracy who controls the economy and dictates who makes what when and ships to the government. The populace essentially lives in factories to make things for the bureaucracy. Wow. Too eery.
I wonder if the MSM will honestly cover this. “Massive Trove”: Trump Declassifying 'Foot-High Stack' of Obamagate Documents - The Tatum Report
If I had a nickle for every time Adam Schiff said there was incontrovertible evidence Trump was a Russian stooge. He needs to be prosecuted for being a lying POS.
BREAKING: Fox News Lays Off Chris Stirewalt, Other Decision Desk HQ Staff in Restructuring Too bad, so sad. Probably more to come. But this group is largely responsible for pissing off many former customers.
Is Stirewalt too cuckish? If you read the entire article, it sounds like he's a victim of sex discrimination.
Did Sotomeyer mispronounce Kamala's name? Sotomayor mispronounces Kamala Harris' name – Twitter reacts | Fox News
Annual survey from Edelman shows trust in traditional media and social media are at all-time lows -- 56% of Americans agree with the statement that “Journalists and reporters are purposely trying to mislead people by saying things they know are false or gross exaggerations.” 58% think that “most news organizations are more concerned with supporting an ideology or political position than with informing the public.” When Edelman re-polled Americans after the election, the figures had deteriorated even further, with 57% of Democrats trusting the media and only 18% of Republicans. Trust in media hits new crisis low
Dr Joe Are you sure yesterday's riots and destruction in Portland and Seattle aren't just Street Fairs?
The media is slime When The Washington Post published a 2019 campaign trail feature about then-presidential hopeful Kamala Harris' close relationship with her sister, it opened with a memorable anecdote in which Harris bizarrely compared the rigors of the campaign trail to…life behind bars. And then proceeded to laugh—at the idea of an inmate begging for a sip of water.
