How does an average looking athlete do such amazing things? Respect :hookem:

Yes. At this point the numbers speak for themselves. 10 super bowl appearances now with a second team.

I don’t like him but the man knows how to win

It is Tom Brady The GOAT! There can be no question. And, if he wins the Super Bowl with Tampa Bay- good grief.

Watching Mahomes, KC just looks crazy good. SB will be a fun game to watch. Mahomes ability to move while under pressure makes him so hard to defend. That and having Kelce and Hill.

I once didn't but over the years grew to love Tom Brady. Much respect. I have doubts about the motives of anyone who "hates" him. What's not to like?

His receivers didn't do him justice today. A few money throws weren't caught and only one of those INTs should be held against. Those drops aside, he clearly makes everyone else around him better and it is a large part of his successes.
A consummate professional and by my own view and any accounts I've ever heard a pretty cool guy for someone of his fame, wealth, and stature. Happy for him and it's a great story.

Should be a great game and I don't care who wins. Mahomes just makes the game more fun. Hard to bet against Brady's teams, but KC looks like an unstoppable force and they have the edge. Two smart defenses. Matchup anyone outside of Buffalo and GB wanted.

I'll just say hook 'em...and may it lie with whoever makes the plays.

My bias is Brees. He's been amazing but, Brady is an insert QB for Super Bowl recipe. Truly impressive

He’s easily the best at his position in my lifetime. Money, just plain money.

Also one of the best looking men I’ve ever seen in my life.

But I don’t like him. I respect his game and his ability, but I don’t respect him.

Stat of the day. Tom Brady has more playoff victories after age 35 than any other qb has in their entire career.

I haven't paid much attention to the NFL in years but I was intrigued enough to watch both divisional games Sunday. You would have to roll back to the early 90s to find the last time I purposely watched not one but let alone two NFL games in a row.

Brady and Mahomes just both intrigue me though. I guess I just love the game of football.

I think I’m with a lot of y’all on Brady... I don’t especially like him but his body of work is just undeniable.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are basketball on grass. The new generation.

I think Kansas City rolls in this one & Brady gets strafed & harassed more than an owl in an aviary. Still... You never know.

I agree that KC should roll but the argument on Brady Goat or not, I mean come on, Tampa, who really thought at the beginning of season they would make the Super Bowl. This is the clincher for me. He has incredible results with the Pats but this just blows me away.

Of all of the current young QB's, Mahomes is the only one who has a chance to exceed what Brady has done. Jackson, Watson, Allen and Herbert will be the future Brees, Rivers, Rogers.

I agree Mahomes has a "chance" to go to ten super bowls, like anyone else, but no way is anyone going to match that. Lot of things have to go right.

Heard Aikman on the Dallas radio this morning saying he thinks Brady is the clear GOAT

    And duh...
    Of course he is.
    (At his position)

    On a side note...
I vaguely remember an old quote from him that stood out to me...
Someone asked him around 4 Superbowl wins how it felt to be him or something like that...
. And he said something to the affect of I'll do my best at this...this is what I do now...but I wonder what else there is.. I am trying to find out. There's got to be more to life than just being good at football.

I would still like to hear someone who says they don't like him explain why.
Not a trick question or a trap....I just am curious and want to understand.

I have always thought he was good and I've never disliked him but until this year I wasn't sure if he was the goat or if it was the NE system getting him to all those super bowls. Now I believe he was a huge part of that success.

Brady has been in the NFL for 21 years. Of those, he's gone to the Super bowl 10 times, winning 6, and possibly one more this year.

Those are stunning numbers - he's been in almost half the Super Bowls played during his time in the league.

I'd thought he was washed up after last season, with his last pass being an INT for TD. Yet, he helped a previously pitiful Tampa Bay team to the Super Bowl, including an on the road win against the #1 seed Green Bay.

    His legend only grows.

After Brady with 6 wins and 6 rings are:

    Joe Montana, 4 rings
    Terry Bradshaw, 4 rings
    Troy Aikman, 3 rings
Eli and Payton Manning each have 2 rings
Several guys also have 2 rings

As far as how many SB those and others played in whether they won or lost, I don't have that info yet.

Fran Tarkington played in several Super Bowls, won none unfortunately. Just throwing him some props since I was team Purple People Eater as a tyke.

Well, Elway lost 3 in a row, then won 2 in a row, so 5 appearances total
I dont think anyone else has more than 4

Yep! Elway lost 3 superbowls to San Fran by 45 pts, Washing by 32 pts and to NY by 19 pts. But he has played in 5 total. This Super Bowl will be Brady's 10th, I think, 9 with NE and 1 with TB.

It's hard to argue with going to the Super Bowl 10 times in the NFL with different players coming and going. Winning this one in a Tampa Bay uniform would say alot to me about Tom Brady. Even if Tampa Bay loses, I'd be hard pressed to realistically pick a better player right now at that position given the body of work. So, yeah, I say he's the GOAT.

I don't root for either one of those teams, but it should be a pretty exciting game. I'm looking forward to watching it.
