DKR should adopt this beer as the official beer of the Longhorns.

Jackalope Brewing Company. I’ve never had it. Saw it at a BBQ restaurant in Nashville.

It is interesting though, that a few on here had Bob on their list of potential Herman replacements.

“I love Alex Grinch, you knew him from Wash State. Alex Grinch can not hold Pete Kwiatkowski’s jock. PK is a much better defensive coordinator than AG is. For sure.
“I mean give him credit for what he’s done at Oklahoma, sure. But PK deserves to be the highest paid coordinator in the B12. He’s getting a raise and going to a place where that money goes a lot further than it does in Seattle.”

I feel the poor man's pain. I think he needs to be rehired as OU DC immediately.

Grinch almost lost to Maryland when he was at aOSU the same second year Texas did. Maryland just ran out of offensive horses.

I’ll look for that while I’m here Theo. Seen it at any stores or just the restaurant? I have a son in law that is a brewmaster so I’ll ask him too.

Just that restaurant today while I waited. I’ll check the stores next time I go.

As for BBQ in Nashville, there are some good ones, but hard to find great brisket.

Granddaughter said they have it at her Kroger’s up in east Nash. I’m down south so I’ll check here. Novelty cause no idea if any good but cool regardless.

George Bailey No beans in my chili, thank you

A few years ago we were visiting our jarhead son at Camp Lejeune, NC. We found a BBQ joint and the bride ordered brisket. Our waiter laughed and said 'Y'all are from Texas, arn'cha?' Two days into that visit I was sick of BBQ pork in thin, runny mustard vinegar.

I've pretty much given up on finding good brisket east of Longview/Marshall.

There is no mustard in eastern NC bbq. Red vinegar sauce. Go to western NC and get a slaw burger (pork bbq minced with dry cole slaw and vinegar).

Only if you like pork and are willing to consider it barbeque.
Oh wait, you said REAL barbeque. Never mind.

The best I’ve had East of the Mississippi is Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse, New York.

I'll argue two points with you. Yes, we ate mustard sauce at two diff places around Willmington. And calling anything in North Carolina 'bbq' is blasphemy. John Cornyn's oven brisket is probably better than anything I had out there...

Jackalope Brewing company distributes beer in Tennessee and, rather weirdly, Vermont. But not to any other state.

As a side note, they need a better artist for their can designs.

Next time, go to Smithfield’s chicken and bbq for some good stuff. Mustard sauce is from SC. You should have complained to the management.

Mix the pork bbq with the slaw to make a slaw burger.

Grooms has been an active member of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) since 2001. He served as president of the AFCA’s Director of Football Operations group in 2017, in a year where the group’s yearly agenda was diversity and inclusion in college football. He has been a trustee for the organization as of 2018.

In 2013, Grooms was named FootballScoop.com’s 2013 Director of Football Operations of the Year for his contributions at Ohio.
