Thanks to social networks you don't have to go far to have been influenced by QAnon. If you've seen any of the "save the children" garbage you've been influenced by them. Even "stop the steal" was amplified greatly by that outfit.

The 2022 elections are going to radically alter the composition of both houses and Joe is going to have to compromise. And tell AOC and company to choke on their own bs

Never been exposed to any save the children stuff, unless you're talking about Marlo Thomas' stuff from long ago. So, no. I haven't been influenced.

"Stop the steal" is nothing more than a slogan to me. I saw it happen on fox, cnn, msnbc on election night. I just wait to vote, and volunteer.

But I appreciate you keeping your ear to the ground for me on this Qanon stuff. You're my go to on all things Qanon... :smile1:

Never saw Save the Children and maybe heard about "Stop the Steal" three or four times and I have a major presence on Facebook.

It registered virtually nothing with me.

I too have never seen any of the stuff that OU Bubba posts, but I admire his diligence and perseverance. He’s like the unsung town folks during WW2 who made sure the lights were off at night in coastal towns so the Germans couldn’t see the silhouette of our ships at sea.

Barry, how many actual QAnon people do you know?

A few. A lot that amplified the save the children nonsense on Facebook. Maybe 40.

You know 40 QAnon people? I'm impressed. Still don't know a single one, and probably 80 percent of my friends voted for Trump. Must be a big thing in Oklahoma.

Pardon my ignorance, but in principle who would not want to save the children? (And for that matter, who would not believe in principle that black lives matter?) The slogans are hard to disagree with on their face.

But my question is, what were we supposed to be saving the children from? I'm not on fascistbook, so I really don't know what the argument is about.

I'm still not sure what Qanon is, much less than know anybody that follows it. And I would guess at least 70% of the people I know voted for Trump.

I know a bunch of people who post Q crap on facebook. #savethechildren. The talk about Biden being a predator. They reference that Biden didn't actually win the election. Anything Sidney Powell... Yeah, those are people that have been impacted by QAnon.

And I have 3 very good friends who got sucked into the Q crap. One dug his way out. One is my daughter's batting coach that I went to high school with. He unfriended me and blocked my cell phone. Total nutjob. He's very worried about all those kids.

The more Bubba and Husker talk about QAnon, the more I think they are QAnon members trying to increase enrollment by showing how laughable the leftist viewpoint is.

Honestly I don't know anything about the save the children thing. Did Sally Struthers joint QAnon?

I don't put the people who generally think Biden didn't win into the same category as those think Biden is a predator or the other goofy stuff that QAnon pitches. Monahorns and Garmel think Biden didn't win. I think they're wrong, but I don't lump them into QAnon. In fact, I remember polls from after 2016 of large numbers of Democrats who thought Trump didn't actually win. In politics, most people (including Democrats) believe self-serving narratives and rationalize them. That doesn't make them like the worst conspiracy theorists.

I’m sure QAnon exists, but I also think this is a liberal smear campaign that somehow sticks. I really don’t identify as a Republican, but the majority of my friends and family could be tagged as Republicans. None of those people are QAnon and none even know what or who it is - much less what they stand for. Bubba knows 40 of them though. Maybe he could do a live stream interview of his friends to clue the rest of us in.

If Sleepy holds an early press conference and calls QAnon the JV, I’ll get worried.

Monahorns and I are looking at scientific studies that say what we saw in 2020 was impossible, not what Trump/republicans think. One of America's top cybercrime experts believe this election was stolen. A coalition of 400 ex-military/ex-FBI intel guys have also come out and said this election was stolen. Please don't put Mona and me in the same category of the dems who accuse Trump and Putin working together with zero proof.

I said I know three who pretty directly identify with their theories. One has since seen the stupidity of it. The rest are people who were duped into pushing their narratives about the deep stare pedophiles. Kind of like how the New York faux billionaire seemed to convince rural america that not only did they share interests but those interests included tax cuts for billionaires and big businesses and golf course owners.

If you film yourself doing a “where we go one, we go all” chant or you put WWG1WGA on your signature then you will out yourself.

House Democrats have discussed disinterring confederate soldiers buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
But now they are in a emotional quandy because they are so poorly educated they did not know the cemetery is on Gen. Robert E. Lee's estate.
Now they are discussing closing the cemetery and removing ALL of the soldiers buried there.

They people charging the Capital were on the right side of things

You have no idea what you're talking about. The media plays you like a fiddle and you haven't figured it out yet. I was right about Russian collusion. You still probably believe it. You still parrot the "fine people on both sides" lie which has been debunked by transcript and video.
You're one of those who thought Putin and Trump were buddies. You still haven't figured that you're as badly informed as your average QAnon supporter but just on the opposite side of the aisle.
You've bought into every anti-Trump conspiracy theory as fact and you have the nerve to refer to me as a Q supporter?

I suspect all of the confederates buried there served in other US wars.

Yes I do and I appreciate that. However, it did sound like you were comparing us with the know-nothing dems of the 2016 election. My apologies if I misunderstood you.
