The problem with Bubbas is that they never seek other sources of information. I read CNN, HuffPost and the other liberal trash everyday. The same can be held about Breitbart etc.

It’s when you don’t read AND RESPECT alternative views that this country fails. But It’s the cancel culture mentality. Don’t think - be popular

As I’ve said before, Barry is a gift to this site. But he needs to read other sites. OU still sucks though.

I’m sure it feels condescending to you. To others, it looks as though he has the logic and facts and makes Libs look like dumb pricks, which they are.

I respect alternative views. I don’t like to feel like I feel when little Ben is on me. He’s the rights equivalent of the young Turks or Michael Moore. Aggressive. I’m this thread I said I agreed with Gina carano.

If you would provide a specific example of “little Ben” being condescending (for instance, calling you “little bubba”), I’m sure we could all have a good laugh.
so now you agree that banning is wrong?

    4th_floor Dude, where's my laptop?

It was a temporary ban. The founder was fired by Parler after Parler was deplatformed. He was banned after posting that he commended former colleagues for “doing a great job” in getting Parler back online, and telling them to “keep killing.” I think that would be worthy of a ban.

Bubba is brainwashed. He can’t post one example so he is just barking Acosta messages.

Kathleen Kennedy is single handedly trying to kill Star Wars. The crappy 3 last movies are due to her.

Dave Filoni is single handedly trying to save Star Wars. He is why Mandalorian season 2 was as good as it was.

You are very ignorant. I listen almost everyday. Are there issues on which he is firm? Yes, but in general very few commentators on either side are more tolerant of opposing views. He routinely invites people who disagree and is quite good at interviewing liberals. You should give him more of a chance. He is nothing like Michael Moore and far more tolerant of opposing views than the Young Turks guy, though he has debated Cenk Uygur, and it was pretty civil.

Why does the media let them do this?

Because the media and Libs are actively engaged in everything they accuse their opponents of doing. Voter suppression, collusion with foreigners during elections, riots, insurrection, etc.

Maybe I'm guilty of just watching clips of him on the twitter. He looks like he needs a Patrick Beverly off ball screen to me.

I think he’s a pretty smart guy but I’ll admit to thinking his voice is a bit grating imo.

So you judged the guy without actually listening to his show but instead watched a few clips, which some leftist you follow on Twitter likely edited or took out of context to make him look bad? Be better than that.

Look at what William Raspberry (a pretty liberal columnist from back in the day) wrote about Rush Limbaugh after judging him based on the superficial and phony characterizations of the Left rather than actually listening to him or reading his material. Follow his example. Link.

I'd especially suggest listening to him interview people of the left (such as Cameron Kasky or Matt Yglesias) on his Sunday special. He obviously has an agenda, but he's a nicer guy and more sensible than you'd assume. He also has no qualms about criticizing Trump when he deserves it and never bought the stolen election myth.

I've heard him on extended interviews on long form podcasts. I've probably listened to 2 hours of him in that format. That was pre-Trump.

The most prolific example of an internet troll in my life calls me a troll. Not sure how I'm supposed to be feeling here. I paid the $75 to be a sponsor. So, to quote the great Florence, kiss my grits!

musburger is more trolly but you've got him on the posting numbers.

He was a frequent guest on Adam Carolla's daily podcast. I used to listen to his podcast daily. Praeger was less condescending. Carolla became "too much" for me.

Anyone who makes a living filling 1hr/day with political talk is a twat. That applies to Ben Shapiro, Rachel Maddow, Rush Limbaugh, Don Lemon, etc. Because they have to fill so much air-time they are forced to take an extremely biased perspective on everything. They create controversies where none exist simply to fill air-time. Some are smarter than others but still they have an agenda that in part is to make the "other side" look stupid. They are all toxic and generally replace real information with psuedo-information or commentary. Commentary is cheap...it's just blabbing.

You should try his actual show, and if you were listening to him pre-Trump, that was quite a long time ago. He may have even still been at Breitbart back then, and I didn't listen to him back then.

Here's what I like about him. First, he thinks for himself and doesn't blindly follow the party line. He didn't back Trump in 2016, and though he did back him in '20, he never hesitated to criticize him.

Second, he is intelligent. He can do more than just recite talking points (like Sean Hannity).

Third, he truly seeks dialogue with liberals. He'll criticize their actions but actively seeks them out for discussion and is respectful and fair when they will talk with him.

Fourth, he distinguishes between liberals and the hard Left. In other words, he gives them a courtesy rarely granted to conservatives who are routinely lumped in with the alt-Right.

Finally, he can admit when his opposition makes a good point. Far too many commentators (Left and Right) think that's a sign of weakness. It's actually a sign of strength.

I'll sound douchie, but frankly Shapiro kinda reminds me of myself. Lol.
