That’s the most detrimental and frustrating play in the game.

Gritty, gutsy performance. Not pretty, but this is basketball, not a beauty contest.

Lots of things to be frustrated about but i think even more to be happy about. Come back from 15 down, bounce back from Saturday, strong rebounds down the stretch. Ramey was nails from the line and Sims completely changed the inside game in 2nd half. Sweep of KU. Which of you naysayers wouldn't have signed up for that at the start of the year. Oh and there's your home win against a ranked team.

Character, grit, determination, teamwork, desire, perseverance. That’s this team and this program.

Sims has proven he can defend the likes of McCormack, Culver, and whatever stud post player the opposition trots out on the court. Masterful job on D tonight by Sims.

:hookem:Very nice comeback and outstanding win especially after that just awful start and for what looked like a team about to get a nail in their coffin instead they showed true heart.

But tonight only means something if they build on it and do something in Lubbock, Ames, Norman and Fort Worth. This team can still be a three seed but they have to go get some big road wins. They have shown they are capable but just being capable won’t be enough.

The Rock Chalks don't normally get beaten to death on the boards like they did in this game. If the Horns rebound like this in those upcoming road games, life could be very good. KU came in on a five game winning streak, got a big lead, and then got out played, out hustled and out coached in the second half and in OT. A nice Senior Night for those kids.

Looking at the standings. OU losing to KSU last night was big and unexpected. We are only a half game back of the Sooners and still get to play them again (hopefully at full strength this time). We are a 1.5 games back of West Virginia, who still has to play Baylor twice. We are a game back of KU who plays Baylor on Saturday. It's a long shot but IF we can win out, I see us as the 2-seed in the Big 12 tournament. :hookem:

    I was wondering about that

It looks like we beat KU twice in 2003-04 with a B12 tourney win - this was the year we ended up losing as a 3-seed to 7-seed Xavier

Sims was great last night. Why wasn’t he in the game at the end—the FT in OT when a rebound was essential?

won the game at the FT line.

Next 4 games on the road. Have to win 2, 3 would be great.

Hope we can get A. Jones back on track.

Sims is playing NBA level D. His inside scoring game is also improving.
