No By that is pure unadulterated degeneracy.
I’m seriously considering contributing to Mr Rand. He seems to be a lone sane voice these days.

    WorsterMan SEC here we come!!

Dr. Rachel Levine... ok, he / she is highly educated, has a very impressive resume of medical achievement but is this person THE best we can do for Asst. HHC Sec.?

    A non-medical, Fed. Gov. position?

    Asking for a friend....

No, not really, I suspect this is just another Dem / Left social experiment.

    Why am I wrong?

Does anyone remember comrade Nancy floated the possibility of the 25th Amendment back in the fall?

25th summary: POTUS is determined unfit / unable to serve. VP takes over.

I contend the Dems KNEW sleepy Joe would struggle to govern if elected and ERRBODY, at some point, would recognize he was failing.

So the 25th would make it easy to push aside China Joe and elevate always smiley, goofy and incompetent VP - KH.

With no 25th in place... Subersive Pelosi will have more hoops to jump thru to push Beijing Biden aside.

They will wait until 2 years heave passed so Harris could theoretically have 2 of her own terms after finishing Biden's.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

    Even worse.

    It's so sick.

The 25th Amendment won't be invoked. Far too controversial. Biden will simply resign if he gets any worse and if he's able to make it through his term, he won't seek reelection. He was a vehicle to get rid of Trump and not much more than that, and I think he recognizes that.

I agree, but I do not think Biden ever resigns. He will become incapacitated at some point. As stated previously, as long as he crosses the 2 year mark the DNC will be happy. He is under their control anyway. Is he the least powerful POTUS ever?

Theii’s he may be the least competent individual to be POTUS but judging by what he has done (or undone) over such a short time he is not the least powerful.

I don't think Biden recognizes anything
And I don't see how the DMC can hide his increasing dementia for 2 years.

Woodrow Wilson in his last year was pretty weak. He was also the worst president in history.

Agree. Look at the damage he caused with his "War on Poverty." We have spent trillions and the poverty rate hasn't improved. But the programs are still in place. The closest thing to a perpetual motion machine is a federal giveaway program.

I think DNC will give Biden one Xmas then tap on the shoulder. Or maybe that’s what’s they are hoping, I can see 2 years of Harris to try to sell her.

It sorta depends on how you judge a president. In terms of direct damage caused by his policies that we're dealing with today, you're probably correct. The Great Society massively enabled and boosted illegitimacy, created an enormous entitlement that's always on the verge of insolvency, gave the federal government a huge foothold into public education, and of course, screwed up the Vietnam War. It's a hell of a lot of damage for one presidency to do.

What makes Wilson particularly terrible is his view of the Constitution. He really hated it and viewed it as an annoyance to his pursuit of power and was also an early advocate for a "living" (and therefore meaningless) Constitution. He was also the first real elitist progressive - thought everyone was an idiot and that a big administrative estate should run everything. And of course, his foreign policy led to the rise of Nazism, WWII and lots of dead people. In other words, LBJ basically got all his stupid ideas from Wilson.

Without Wilson there would not have been a New Deal or Great Society.

Weird enough. During his first campaign he talked like a Jeffersonian/Jacksonian. He criticized TR for being Progressive and then doubled down on Progressivism. He was directly lying too. He wrote years earlier exactly his political ideology which was having an unelected bureaucracy run everything. Plus he was a super racist. Super super racist. He brought back the KKK for God's sake and segregated the Federal gov.

He was the son of a Presbyterian preacher. He thought his plans were righteous. But he was a devil.

I didn't even get to this point. His racial views would make David Duke cringe. It's why the Left is somewhat divided on him. He was probably the most overtly racist president we've ever had. There have been some criticisms and maybe a statue torn down but nothing compared to what a conservative with the same views would have gotten. However, they won't go too far because his policy preferences were a modern progressive's dream. Furthermore, though his racial views differ from theirs in intent, they often result in similar policy.

I enjoy the West Mall due to the education I receive here. These posts caused me to go back and look at Wilson’s legacy. He was a progressive’s dream with an upper tax rate of 77%. He was bad, but LBJ’s policies will be the ultimate downfall of the United States.

Notice when Trump became president it was like the clouds parted. Pulled out of Iran deal, Paris deal, etc. He authorized Keystone pipeline, kicked trannies from the military, stopped apologizing for America, eliminated unnecessary regulation, etc.

What has Biden done except make everything worse?

I have both of you down now as the possessing a world-class blindspot. A blind-spot created by virtue signaling political correctness. You want to be good people. You are good people. But the naivety in falling for political charlatans means you have lots of work to do.

Biden’s top aide says White House will ‘start acting now’ on reparations for African Americans

Add this to open borders, COVID bail-outs, minimum wage, the green deal, taxing the net worth of the rich etc and it's clear that the extremism of the Left far outpaces whatever it was about Trump that offended you. These people are going to destroy us. Add it up. Add the money up. It's YOUR VOTE that gave us this.

Whatever it takes to buy votes and win elections is what they will do. And that is absolutely "whatever it takes".
