This country is broken, there is no fixing it, we need to separate or have a blood letting with a civil war. The left has gone completely Socialist/Communist and owns the Media and social networks. Nothing short of war is going to slow them down.

I wish I could say I see another way for our country to stop the destruction but having the media fueling guarantees it.
Honestly it is disappointing that nit one dem on WM has spoken about any of the destructive policies
    Not even to defend them
It is as if they are all too scared to admit they made a mistake

Sheldon, this is where I think secession and/or nullification could be a way to lubricate the differences in our country. Nullification gives states a trap door to escape federal law they really really don't like. It hurts rule of law some, but it is a way to teach us all how to be humble about differences and merciful about punishment for those we disagree with. A healthy bit of nullification would inherently decrease the power of the government and could teach how to be graceful about law enforcement. If a law is ignored enough it could eventually go away too.

Secession is the next option. In its place I would hope there would still be free trade and free movement agreements across the Continent. Maybe there could be 2 or 3 regional federations, all with agreements with one another. The Left my never agree to that because of Climate Change ideology. It is a global movement with global aspirations. They aren't looking for less control. The other big obstacle will be the Deep State. They will want to keep the continent under the Federal Reserve banking system and they will want to continue to draw resources and people for the military from the whole continent. They also have global ambitions so giving up a part of the country will be unthinkable to them.

If you guys would quit watching television you might relax enough to quit thinking about secession.

    A. Hypocritical: His wife and her family are citizens based upon immigration that he supposedly disapproved of.
    B. Somewhere between unsettling and racist: "why can't we get more people from countries like Norway instead of from ******** countries?"

Maybe he should have someone write him some talking points and follow them.

    A. It’s not hypocrisy to take advantage of the current political system that you didn’t have a say and also want an improved version for the future.
    B. What is wrong to want immigrants from countries that share similar culture as the US? It assures faster assimilation. Why is this hard to understand?

That makes it all better. :)

The irony of that image is laughable. Someone who's never had much use for the Bible would make an image like that.

No, it’s not hypocrisy to marry someone who entered the country based on decisions made decades ago by other people and then want to change the system. According to your logic, anyone impacted by the current immigration policy, such as using a lawn care company that uses illegal labor, can’t have a say on immigration policy? What type of sooner logic is this?

    Thanks.

Both parties are in their own little civil wars. To build a party broad enough to win elections, you have to have lots of different viewpoints and priorities represented. Some of those viewpoints and priorities conflict.

Bubba I tend to agree on that ridiculous statue but the goings on at those type conventions borders on absurd anyway. And I admit I smiled and thought well thank goodness it wasn’t made in China.

Do you agree with Biden's policies on illegals and the border?

On the Post Trump GOP there may not be much interest in Biden's policies to this date.

Perhaps you should start a new post on the subject to gauge interest.

But to answer your question, I have little interest in arguing ideological subjects.

Conversations are welcome but when they are prefaced by posts that indicate the choice is to argue or be attacked for not arguing. In reality not a conversation at all which is two sided but when only one side is acceptable just a presentation the ideological position of a poster.

Example: Honestly it is disappointing that nit one dem on WM has spoken about any of the destructive policies
    Not even to defend them
It is as if they are all too scared to admit they made a mistake

Example 2- Notice Bubba only makes anti Trump posts, Since Bubba won't answer...

    A. Maybe I had you on ignore. Wait...seriously, I do have two fools on ignore. Maybe that is why there’s some perception that I’m not responding.

    B. Trump has to be not polling at over 50% of the GOP until you can discuss “post Trump GOP”. It’s more of the same delusional draining (but really filling) the swamp.

    C. When have you posed me any questions?

    D. I figure he’s unfucking things. I’m happy to discuss policy. I’ve already agreed with Garmel and ii’s twice.

    E. Let’s see his first budget and actual policies.

    F. Funny how the “I didn’t see his tweet” crowd won’t confirm people over mean tweets. Talk about irony.

    A. I like to use them to organize my thoughts and to keep myself from rambling points on top of one another.

    2. I don’t do it for you.

III. If that’s your strongest critique of me, I won. :)

You voted for a guy with dementia and didn't know his policies? He's screwing up the border again. Let's talk about that policy.

By the way, Biden was in Houston a couple days ago. He was with "Shirley" Jackson Lee, became lost during his speech and said "what am I doing here?"
