The Horns are on the road Tuesday night in San Marcos for the second of three games this year with the Texas State Bobcats, Texas won first game 10-3 back in March. Hanson has been a very solid number four pitcher and will be on the mound again for Texas who look to extend their 13 game win streak. Game is on ESPN+.

Who are the announcers? The analyst said he roomed with Hodo’s dad in college.

I’m genuinely curious. For the record I’ll take Moreland/Swindell.

Moreland & Hodo weren't there at same time. Billy Bates is teaching kids in West Houston, or at least he was.

Oh it’s not Moreland and Swindell. I just meant I prefer them over these 2.

Someday I’ll learn to just shut up and nod when you speak. It’s Ty Harrington.

Horns plate 2 in top of the 7th. 4-1. Needed that breathing room. Now bring it home.

Sorry, I thought you were guessing, which I couldn't do since I haven't listened. I really enjoy Moreland's commentary.

When he was playing in the bigs, he came to the Astrodome. Our seats were row 3 behind the visitors dugout. Randy Hendricks was Keith's agent (and virtually every other Longhorn in MLB). He told me to go early to catch batting practice because Keith had a surprise for my son. He had just come off a July from hell, ripping the ball for something like a 565 average in the month. Our seats were just at the inside edge of the visitors dugout. Moreland was taking BP, and when he was through there were about 40 little kids wanting autographs. The Dome guards were trying to get the little kids to leave, and he said, "Why are you doing that? These are our fans and why we're here". All the little kids leaving came scrambling back.

Keith looked at me and said, "stay right here I need to get something in the dugout." He came back out with his bat, signed it, handed it to my son, and said, "Remember, always be a Longhorn; Hook em". We still have that bat.

SI wrote an article on his torrid month, during which the write said to him, "You won a State Championship in football, in baseball, a National Championship in baseball, been an AllStar, but what is the biggest thrill of your athletic career"

Keith's response, "Walking down the ramp in The Cotton Bowl against Oklahoma. Nothing compares"

Hansen goes 8 1/3, 92 pitches and only gives up 1 run. 5-1 Horns in Bottom of the 9th. Nixon on to bring it home.

    LHABSOB,

Remind me when we meet again to tell you how Ty helped me save a young girl's life in a story that is filed under "God works in mysterious ways".

Looks like hitters in the SEC are challenged when it comes to putting the bat on the ball. Hmmmnnnn
