A good test. Just win the Series.

 

^I agree, Viper. The Horns are now entering the meat of the conference schedule. Asking for a sweep is a bit over the top - be delighted if it happens, but be satisfied with a series win (especially on the road).

 

This a tough stretch to close the season. Looking at TCU's schedule, I would say they are probably in a better position to win the conference but it will probably come down to that series in FW in 2 weeks.

I think this works in our favor assuming Ty does his normal good job.

 

1st inning, 2 outs, bloop in shallow LF. It looked like Kennedy could have had that runner dead to rights at 3rd but he didn't even think about him.

 

Zubia HR in the 3rd makes it 4-0!

It seems like a lot of called 3rd strikes. It looks like a combination of well-placed pitches and generous calls.

 

Madden struggled in the last inning and OSU cuts it to 4-3. I wonder if that's it for Madden today.

 

Quintanilla gives up a couple of hits but pitches a scoreless 7th. Still 4-3 Horns.

 

I think we need a run in top 9th.

 

Looking at the ground out by Zach, I guess leg whips are allowed in baseball if you have the ball.

 

Gordon and Quintanilla get out of the 8th. 3 outs to go. We need an insurance run in the 9th.

Good start to the series with okie lite. Need at least one more win in this series - a sweep would be even better!

 

Big win considering we were outhit 9 to 4 and we used 4 pitchers as opposed to only 2 by OSU. We also kept pace with TCU going into the night cap tonight.

 

You can’t expect to win >80% of your games with that many strikeouts.

 

Nixon just fu’ed the cowpoke top of the lineup. #badass
