An Oklahoma motion to change the "Save Women's Sports Act" to "Oklahoma Enhanced Discrimination in Sports without Evidence of a Problem Act of 2021".

These GOP congressmen are gonna be salty when they lose the NCAA softball championship in perpetuity.

As climate anxiety builds, these women are choosing to not have children

I'm sure these people are the life of the party...

"Nancy Madrid and her husband aren't climate activists, but do pride themselves on being "very intentional" about reducing their carbon footprint and living in an environmentally conscious manner."

The word, "Intentional" is a huge corporate buzzword these days. It's so telling about people who are trying so hard to impress everyone...

And then there is the OCD of AOC:

"Whether or not to bring a child into the world is a decision that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, co-sponsor of the Green New Deal addressing climate change, acknowledged can have high stakes right now. "Even people my age are stressed and have anxiety about having kids just because we want to make sure we are bringing our kids into a healthy world, into a stable future, and we shouldn't ever have to be anxious about that," the 31-year-old congresswoman told TMZ in January 2020 as devastating bushfires raged in Australia. "

It's awesome that she won't provide us a brainwashed fanatic to deal with.

Whether or not to have children was the topic of a roundtable podcast I listen to often. They cited global climate changes, increasing polarization, the rise of authoritarian governments around the world, etc.

I understand all of that... the pressure from the Left is building and building towards a central force of decision making for all of us. I have two children. I didn't have more because my marriage was failing. These other things are interesting topics but when people walk around with an ego, primed by their progressiveness, then I just look for the nearest commode.

    "climate anxiety" lol...just..lol
I've noticed that the people who supposedly love and care about people sooo much don't seem to appreciate and have many children themselves.
....But they sure do love their dogs

My wife and I have 5 young children and are open to more. We aren't scared of the present nor the future and view it as our calling to have and raise young people that will grow into adults who can stand on truth and not wilt in the face of adversity, distortion, manipulation, deceit, or even evil. We raise them intentionally and are part of a whole host of like minded families who have many children who will one day populate this world as influential adults. They know how they got here, they know why they are here and what they are here for, they know truth isn't subjective, morality isn't relative, they are educated in history, they can think critically, understand the nature of man, and know there is both good and evil...and they won't be intimidated nor shaken.

I like animals but if I'm getting your meaning, there is a dog lover world that is over the top. It's my layman's explanation that they are so OCD, freaked out and worked up, that unconditional love is their drug. Dogs are that way. I get it. But I don't need it like that.

With a concurrent creation of an alternate body for accreditation which recognizes that some kids simply ARE smarter than the rest of the student body and that SOME kids WILL benefit from an advanced/gifted curriculum.

Both of my kids attended private school except my daughter went public her last two years. The liberal policies of dumbing down the public curriculum will only further the rich vs poor education system they so hate as more who can afford private school do it.

What you will end up with is kids who have the money will get a great education causing over the next generation a much deeper chasm between the rich and poor financially. This is why they are so hell bent on socialism or maybe this is their means to get socialism in the end.

It's really sad to think that liberals or at least liberal politicians believe one group of people are incapable of learning at a higher level. I think there is a word for that.

Nailed it. The rich and powerful all send their children to private schools. While at the same time preaching that all kids need to go to public schools for the sake of equality and fairness. That means they know something and aren't being honest.

What they aren't saying is that public schools are training kids to be serfs and the elite private schools are teaching kids to be elites.

They don't like home school and Christian schools because they both present a 3rd way, which is to think critically and don't accept the rule of the elites. Serve Jesus not the President.

The San Diego Unified School District is basically doing away with testing because tests are racist. Now students will be graded on their "mastery of the material".

Here are some statements from the linked article:

According to data presented by the district, under the old grading system, teachers fail minority students more than White students – a lot more.

During the first semester of last year, 30% of all D or F grades were given to English learners. One in four, 25%, of failing marks went to students with disabilities.

By ethnicity, 23% went to Native Americans. Another 23% of failing grades went to Hispanics. And 20% of D or F grades went to Black students.

By comparison, just 7% of failing marks went to White students.

San Diego Unified School District Changes Grading System to ‘Combat Racism'

Instead of doing their jobs as teachers and bringing the slow learners up to speed, they're doing to dumb down the curriculum and hide their weaknesses.

It's the old every kid gets a ribbon for participation.

It all comes down to parenting and having a law abiding father in their life. Ever notice that the news conferences for all of these recent black shootings there is no father there and the mother always has a different last name than the victim?

My feeling is that the teachers union is really looking for ways to make their teachers look good. They are attacking the scoreboard. I have ZERO belief that this is a sincere attempt to combat racism.

In the end, we will see people who are Peter Principled very quickly in life because their "credentials" will mask their true capabilities.

It smacks of, "If I could buy you for what you're really worth and sell you for what THEY (I changed it a bit here) think you're worth, I'd make a fortune."

This is Liberalism that our Liberal friends REFUSE to confront.

Teachers don't fail anyone. Students pass or fail based on their performance

There ARE some crappy teachers that don't know HOW to teach. However, if we presume a situation where the material has been properly conveyed to the students, then yes, they rise and fail based upon ability.

Tonight's revelation that the modern day left are dangerous totalitarian socialists and the biggest joke of all is that Biden is a moderate:

"Biden argued that “only government can make” the kinds of investments he envisioned."

“Investments”. LOL. More like handouts. Did you notice the child care and other assistance doesn’t go to “stay at home” moms and dads? Universal pre-K tuition assistance? Not for home-schooled kids. Going to have to declare my income tax as a charitable donation on my tax forms next year.
