Deez, apparently the social justice cultural Marxists turned on the New Atheist movement for not being woke enough. This is why Dawkins is now persona non grata.

James Lindsay is now fighting SJ and CM actively. He is much more respectful Christians now. He is actually actively helping Christians try to fight SJWs.

As long as the police won't come arrest me for protecting myself, I'm good with less of them. Could organize some other security service to protect my neighborhood.

For the first time, 2 women will share the dais with a president during a joint session of Congress. What female lawmakers told us about it

Look at the absolute pride for Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi. If that's what women wish to look up to then go for it. You've been completely brainwashed. You are so hopelessly locked into your emotional feelings that you're just like the kind of person who gets a rush out of seeing their skin or gender playing a fictional super hero in a movie. It's not progressiveness. It is about making you feel good, because these are two horribly corrupt HUMAN BEINGS that you are praising to high Liberal heaven because you have such a massive inferiority complex.

Drilling down into the Op-Ed for the money quote:

"Often, as I saw at the UCLA debate, there is little point in arguing with the theorists themselves. They have become so entrenched in their far-fetched beliefs that they consider all opposition to be inherently evil (many of the pro-systemic racism students claimed all opponents to their ideas were simply racist themselves)."

Ultimately, the civil rights movement is struggling to stay relevant, and its leaders are getting bored. They had many justifiable complaints for a long time. Then the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts passed. Affirmative action became common. Massive economic aid has been thrown their way. After all that, you don't have much left to complain about except stuff like soap dispensers.

Final act is to kill whitey and take their property. Mao did that with village landowners. Maybe the white upper class liberals know this and trying to stay ahead of the mob. Maybe we are the dumb ones.

I think that as it has lost its relevance, it has been taken over by Marxists (which is why you're seeing a push for greater wealth redistribution and reparations), and that is attracting college academics and elites who see it as a political tool they can deploy when convenient.

It's kinda strange. Marxism is pitched as promoting a classless society, but it's biggest advocates are elites. The reason why is that Marxism doesn't lead to classlessness. It leads to an elite (cultural and political insiders) being permitted to rule over everyone who is outside their clique.

Does this seem like a good idea?
House Democrats introduced a bill to block forms of federal grants from going to employers that conduct criminal background checks, or even “inquire” about the criminal history of an applicant.
The bill, introduced by Representatives David Trone and Maxine Waters, seeks to “amend” the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 by “conditioning eligibility for grants” under the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program.

JAG grants, according to the Department of Justice, compose the “leading source of federal justice funding to state and local jurisdictions.” The program “provides states, tribes, and local governments with critical funding necessary to support a range of program areas” including crime victim and witness initiatives, mental health programs, and crime prevention.

The bill would amend the program by introducing an “eligibility” clause for private employers, excluding grant recipients from requiring applicants to disclose their criminal records. What’s more, businesses aren’t even allowed to “‘inquire” about the matter with applicants or “conduct a criminal background check”:

‘‘ELIGIBILITY.—Beginning with the third fiscal year that begins after the date of the enactment of the Workforce Justice Act of 2021, to be eligible for an allocation under this section, a State shall have enacted and be implementing legislation that prohibits private employers from—

    ‘‘(A) requiring an applicant to disclose whether the applicant has a criminal record;

‘‘(B) inquiring about the criminal record of an applicant prior to a conditional offer of employment; and

‘‘(C) conducting a criminal background check on an applicant prior to a conditional offer of employment.’’

Everything is basically being geared towards the criminal element. If you cannot get people to change their behavior, then you normalize it and attack those who would question the original criminal behavior.

Raise the minimum wage... force companies to interview everyone before running criminal background checks... raise their taxes... attack CEO's... picket and destroy companies/industries not fanatically in line with climate change wealth redistribution campaigns...

The US corporation/economy is a playground for Liberals. NOTHING is real to them except their agenda. Money can be printed, corporations can be plundered. They are immune to consequences (Re: Maxine Waters). Nobody will stand up to them. Why? It's because half the population likes the hand-out and assuaging of their mental hang-ups and the other half either can't vote them out (don't live in their districts, hence the need for term limits) or are afraid of being cancelled.

The left wants a lot of litigation when it is discovered AFTER the 'conditional offer' of employment that the felon is, in fact, a felon.

This crap allows them to tell their criminal demographic that they TRIED to help them keep a yob after being at yale for a few years...but it was that evil corporate entity that just doesn't want thugs on a payroll...

This bill if enacted would prevent employers from doing a criminal background check BEFORE offering employment.

Well mb they are probably right. Big bad employers do not want thugs convicted of crimes in areas directly related to their biz.

I hired someone who was arrested for prostitution. Her job was not related to that .
She was one of the best employees I ever had.OTOH I don't think I would have hired someone convicted of stealing to handle money

Good heavens mc, you think details are known? I don’t even understand how he’s going to do the preK. My kids never attended preK. I am of the mind there will be an increase in home schooling coming fast. Private schools will be booming.

I was hoping to get $10k annually from what my wife has done for the past 10 years for my kids for PK3-4th grades. Wife is on our 4th home school kid. 4 kids times 6 years times $4k per year is $96k, right? Come’on Joe!

Not a snowball’s chance in hell to fund anything but government schools and the like. This is to grease the teacher’s Union and their members.
