So New York City still shuts stuff down and has mask mandates because the 6 Trump supporters who live there won't get a vaccine? It's remarkable how the millions of Trump supporters in Texas and Florida don't seem to make such a big impact.

 

I didn’t tout any vaccine, I did say the media will come out and say vaccines work and Biden saved the day. Which Biden is pretty much taking credit for the vaccines, I know he’s a politician.

 

I don’t know what to think about those reporters, or at least the poor soul writing the article. Can you imagine if they had to write about a war, or worse be entrenched? This sorta shows me where their head is:
“ People could literally die if we did our jobs wrong.”
Give me a break. People did die because governments did their jobs wrong.

One more time for those that haven't heard this viewpoint before. If this is some miracle drug and everyone who wants the drug seems to have already gotten it, why do you or anyone else care if I get the shot or not? You're safe.

I've been pretty vocal on this thread about my business, how many people I've come in contact with, events attended, symptoms of household members early last year, etc. States like Georgia, Florida, Montana, Wyoming and Texas have been pretty much wide open for several months (some never closed down at all) and there is ZERO proof from these states that leading our daily lives as free Americans is some danger to society. I am not concerned one bit about this virus and if everyone who is worried has already been vaccinated then what do you care? Because it's about you telling everyone else what they need to do because you know better. Covid is not going anywhere. There have always been variants and there will always be variants and we're going to have to live with that.

I'll never tell someone to or not to get the vaccine, that's an individual freedom to choose. If I die or someone else dies from this virus as a result of refusal to follow a ridiculous thought process then that's on us not you and your ilk.

 

Death rates are higher in lockdown states. Check out Massachusetts. One theory is that receiving micro doses of the virus in non-lock down states provided some immunity that prevented additional deaths.

 

Because it would stamp out the spread.

 

I think there’s a population density thing in play there.

 

If you're vaccinated then why do you care? It only affects those of us who don't want it. Vaccines are easily obtainable for anyone.

I'm not sure if or how many times you've referenced Trump supporters being the problem of refusing to take vaccinations, but this is not a left or right problem for you. If only 30% of the country is vaccinated that means a LOT of liberals are choosing to avoid it. I have a lot of conservative friends who are vaccinated and I'd bet easily 40% of the vaccinated population is conservative/right leaning which means there are over 150 million unvaccinated liberals.

Please help stop the lying and slander.

one of those groups has a historical reason to not trust the gubmit.

 

Oook, how did that dispute what I said? If 30% of America is vaccinated, I maintain that more than 150 million liberals are not vaccinated. Even if only 30% of the vaccinated are conservative, that is still easily 140 million or more liberals not vaccinated. That's a HUGE chunk of libs questioning or refusing this vaccine. Is that truth hard to swallow?

Get your side vaccinated then worry about others. Oh wait, you want to assume only those who support dementia Joe are vaccinated, well that's absolute BS.

You never answered my question about why you are worried about the unvaccinated if you are vaccinated and anyone who wants it can easily get it.

 

Because I’m worried about you unvaccinated people as well. I’m tired of wearing masks too.

If YOU are vaccinated and the vaccine actually works, then YOU don't need a damned mask even if I elect not to get a shot for an illness so deadly I have to have a test to confirm I even HAD said illness.

 

I never worried about people who decide not to receive various vaccinations of any kind. I must be heartless, although I am concerned about stealing land.

 

That's not your burden nor concern to carry if I or anyone else made a bad decision if it only affects me and others who made the same decision. You don't have to wear a mask especially if you're vaccinated. Why can't liberals just live with that?

 

God love you. My wife is the same way. If you are vaccinated, why are you worried? Anyone who wants to be vaccinated can be vaccinated. If they choose not to, it’s their choice. Our hospitals are fine, we have PPE and our economy needs people to participate.

 

If people die of Covid because they haven’t vaccinated, isn’t that the same freedom people are using to not wear a mask?

 

I have read that one supposed vector is fecal, meaning the virus travels through the sewer system. The problem is when a sewer system has back flow, which I read is common in NY/NJ maybe other cities too. I don't know.

It also explains why the Midwest had their peak when they did. It coincided with times when lots of fertilizer was being sprayed on crops. The fertilizer in question is produced from processing human sewer solids. That gets sprayed on the crops and aerosolizes.

 

If what I wrote above is true that is also another reason why most infections seem to start at home.

The other huge missed issue is ventilation. New studies (and many older ones) pointed to this. When I say older I mean from May 2020. Revamping building ventilation could make indoor spread much more difficult too. Breathing someone else's exhale for hours is a huge vector for viral spread.

 

Florida is more dense than California, and most of the populations in decent-sized states live in fairly dense cities, and Florida has a huge population of elderly people. The plausibility of the justifiable lockdown and mask mandate is really getting weak as people vaccinate.

Everybody has a reason to not trust the gubmint. Gavin Newsome doesn't trust the government. Why should anybody else? If those in power don't act like something is true, you can't expect others to believe it to be true.
