Two things:
1) The article takes a very hard segue into the Tebow situation. This has nothing to do with prisons and I'm not going to try to make the connection. It's disjointed and not coherent when they do something like that.
2) Kap is an anarchist whose hero's are Castro and probably Che Guevara. He wants a complete overthrow of the system without any thought to why the alternative would be a catastrophe.
This is not to say the system doesn't need fixing. But the Defund the Police initiative is incredibly idealistic. They hate everything about our society and blame it for all their problems. And when I say they, I mean the rabid idealists who believe they have the solution.
They don't.
Peace and love was tried in the 60's. It failed. I posted an interview a while back from Jerry Garcia and he even admitted people have to work and that the communal style living could never sustain itself. You can't keep taking from producers and give it all away and expect crime and poverty to vanish with peace and harmony the new born child.
