I'm manifesting post season Shannon Rhodes starting today! The post season is where she comes in very clutch and sees the ball like it's a beach ball so we will definitely need it today against OK state. Time for this team to kick it into another gear:hookem::fire:

I hate to jinx us but I also have a good feeling about today’s game and our play in the B12 tournament. Glad to see the osu game is being broadcast on ESPNU at 11am! :hookem3:

I'm looking what I'm seeing front this team thus far. JJ Smith is a huge difference maker and brings that energy and spark this team has been needing. Loving what O'leary is throwing as well

Leaving two runners on every inning doesn't seem like a winning formula. Almost as if every hitter has forgotten how to go with an outside pitch.

The one thing that has hurt Texas all year is timely hitting! We have left so many on base. Come on ladies!

It bothers me so much!!! Especially when Texas swings when the pitcher is throwing balls. Swinging on a 2-0 count when she just issued a walk is a losing formula and the pitches are balls at that so they are giving her rhythm and letting her get back into her groove when they do that. Just keep taking those outside pitches and let her walk you!!!!

Rhodes has just fallen off the table. She is swinging at so many balls outside the zone. It looks like confidence to me.

Apparently never. That's a HUGE opportunity missed. And probably puts a lot of psychological pressure on O'Leary.

That pitch against smith being a foot outside didn't help.

    Trading gifts.

This is exciting softball though, even if it's not been super well executed on both sides. These situations are PERFECT for either team going into postseason play.

I may have jinxed Rhodes because ever since that OU series she has really been the poster child for strikeouts. We need her to get hot going into the post season. I also noticed she is standing so far back almost out of the box

Texas really getting screwed by the ump. GG really got screwed when all she had to do was put the ball in play for a run. Ump giving that ugly pitcher strikes a foot out of the zone and Oleary getting nothing.

O'leary throws an absolute gem and our senior leaders are the reason we lose:mad: just completely embarrassing

On the bright side, O'leary is throwing the best she has all season. Good confidence builder going into the post season now if we can just score with runners in scoring position then we have something special heading into next week

More than a couple of plays...we gotta be better than 3 for 15 or something with runners in scoring position to win against good teams. No one or 2 players "lose" a game.

Interesting to see O'leary back out there. Mike White may want to keep her confidence up after that loss. He could also be preparing her for post season and use her like he did Elish in playing back to back and carrying a heavy load.

Do we only have one game today?

Yes only one game today against Tech at 10:30.
NCAA selection show on ESPN Sunday at 8pm central time. I guess we are out of getting a super regional now? I read the NCAA is only allowing 50% capacity for the games. I do not agree. Open it up and let the fans make there own decisions.
