It appears stupid people do not realize that oil and gas leases pay taxes on those leases whether those leases are developed or not.
Since Biden stopped the leases it means MILLIONS lost to states like Wyoming and Alaska.
But heck who cares about those people when you can placate the Gretas?

Biden shut down 23 million acres of developed land that we were already drilling on within a few days after he took office. That might have been worse than shutting down the XL pipeline.

Biden shuts down the XL pipeline, shuts down production on leased land, Mich Gov shuts down pipeline in her state.
Why are they doing this. Any idiot can see the result of these actions.
It is almost like the Dems want the price of gas to hurt Americans.

They do. They want electric cars that don't do anything to save the planet but dupe stupid *** people into believing so.

Yep, gas gets high enough you look at EV’s regardless of what you think about them. My wife has now brought up a hybrid consideration. Blows my mind how quickly these things alter ones feelings.

I would love to hear Mr Susser's thoughts on this, or even Bob Duff's.

For me? I'm holding out for a solar powered Expedition to drive during hurricane season.

If Biden would stop doing things to drive up gas prices the costs woukd stabilize quickly
Is there a Dem on here who remembers who led the world in production of oil and natural gas not that long ago?

What does that have to do with the topic of the current gas crisis? Is that lost revenue? Absolutely. That's a complete non-sequitur to the current topic.

Chess not checkers please. The current crisis is exacerbated by his immediate attack on the oil and gas industry . It resulted in less investment and production which makes the overall supply lower and any disruption becomes a serious economic event. He could have put forth a long term plan for his vision to go electric, but do it in a manner that did not jeopardize our energy supply. Same with immigration. But we all know he (she) did it for political reasons not citizen reasons.

PM 2.5 is a sham! It's basically a tax on Industry. Any plant would fail that standard without significant Capex to abate all dust. They even count road dust. Lucky for me I added sock filters to my product line a few years back.

^I'd call it misappropriation of funds - sounds like an impeachable offense to me.

What is it called when you don't put the well being of your own citizens above everyone else?
Even Dems should demand this be reversed.
    Right Dems?

How about the fact that the left frequently ******* and moans about 'dangerous fuels and chemicals' being transported over the roads, and thinks rail is just as bad...this in turn leads to fewer drivers licensed to HAUL those sorts of items, which then requires PROMPT action to even lift regulations so that drivers can drive the extra hours and perhaps even haul loads that they had not previously been certified for.

So while the Colonial situation may well have been a 'private company,' there were still Democratic impediments to getting trucks on the road.

This just compounded the problems of inflation driven DIRECTLY by the practices and policies of the #HairSnifferinChief...

As I understand it those transportation rules were temporarily suspended following the hack. Still, I'd agree the ability to change the transport method on a dime is not ideal and potentially not feasible. What's your solution? No regulations?

Biden quote to the press from two days ago:

"I'm not supposed to answer any questions".

Think about that for a minute.

So the buffoon Biden tells Bibbi he Biden expects Bibbi to move toward a path to cease fire.
Hey Bozo it takes both parties for a cease fire.
As long as Hamas keeps sending rockets indiscriminately into Israel I know the IDF can and will defend its" people.

As they should. If they're under attack, they have the right (and obligation) to defend themselves.

I have plenty of beef with Israel but Hamas is a terrorist organization and they are trying to kill civilians. What scares me to death is seeing Americans now openly supporting this.

Neither side is "good" in this conflict. It is a complicated, bloody mess. I can agree with Israel on some things and I can agree with Gaza on some things. But both sides essentially plan to remove the other from the land. It just so happens that Israel has more power now and they are using it. They are defending themselves which they have a right to do. But they are also making life a literal hell in Gaza and the West Bank and slowly, incrementally removing Arabs from the land.

The stronger side will win eventually, but I hate for the country I live in to be involved because it is going to be sinful, bloody, and tragic.
