Watching Lauren Burke peak at the catcher every at bat for location cracks me up. Another difference between baseball and softball.

O'leary pitched a few innings and White came in relief. Both had strong showings through 5 innings

Good win, still a little concerned about the offense. Parker looked awesome at SS.

Bring on Texas State. They beat Oregon 5-1.

We beat them 1-0 in 9 Shay pitched. Then 5-4 Day pitched all but the last out.

Texas State played a really good game against Oregon. We must play better against them to win.

We just gotta get better with runners in scoring position....too much food left on the plate.

The family stayed up to watch the Texas State - Oregon game. Unsure who to root for, so we chose Texas State.

Ugh, what the producers wanted all along. The drama! The transfers! Old vs New!

Who you got as starting tomorrow for Texas? Shea? Or Molly and use Shea as a reserve if we need 2 games to win?

Since he's been here, I hadn't seen Mike ride the same pitcher in consecutive games, much. The fact that Shea pitched a double-header surprised me.

So I think Mike goes with Shea.

Bring on the ducks. Our defense looks stable.

I don't think this is a good match up for Texas and that they won't get out of this regional.

    Defense: Oregon = Texas
    Pitching: Oregon = Texas
    Hitting: Oregon < Texas

Leaning that we can win 1 of 2.

WOW, Tennessee was eliminated in their own regional at home by losing to James Madison & Liberty.

This looks pretty spot on to me. Oregon's offense isn't lighting it up this weekend. They scored 7 against St. Francis but I take that with a grain of salt.

This is a good game for us (Texas) if we hit for a good percentage with runners in scoring position. No more complicated than that.

You bring the same level of sunshine pumping here that you do the WBB.

According to my weather radar I don't see a gap in the rain till like maybe 7:30-8:00. Is there a chance we only play 1 game tonight and the other, if needed, 2morrow? Or would both be played today or tomorrow?

No, you stated an opinion. Facts would be listing statistics or data where Texas doesn't match up well with Oregon.

    Here are facts

    Texas Statistic Oregon
    .351 Batting .361
    2.56 Team ERA 2.61
    64 Errors 33

There's much more that this out there, but this is the beginning. Texas played a much more difficult schedule yet has a better team ERA and almost equal batting average. As is well known in these part this team commits an amazing amount of errors. I see the teams matching up well and it will come down to how clean we can play on defense.

Like I said, Oregon's a bad match. I predicted that Texas wouldn't get out of the regional and that won't change.

Anyone at the field or know what the thinking is? Play tonight? Play tomorrow?

Given that TxState gave Oregon all they could handle, winning the first by something like 5-1 and then only losing last night 2-0, I feel a lot better about Texas getting one against the Ducks, never mind that ducks tend to like water, which is in plentiful supply around the State right now LOL!

I just don't understand why we are the higher seed, in the winners bracket and playing at home yet we are the visitors.
