This is more your speed f**k nut. The running list of President Trump’s nicknames for political rivals
LOL! Who needs citations??? Those little numbers beside the pithy names are links to media quoting Trump. I'm not sure what the debate is here. Are we really debating whether Trump uses pithy nicknames for anyone he doesn't like? Or that his use of nicknames is orders of magnitudes more voluminous and petty than any other politician? Wasn't that a celebrated characteristic by his supporters? Snip:
Lol, your TDS is bad today. See the original post, I just liked sleepy Joe’s corn pop story. I don’t even want how you thought that was a debate.
First of all, he slurs Trump supporters on a regular basis. And if he could get anyone to show up at his rallies, he would have them.
If you really are trying to say Sleepy Quid Pro Joe has not slurred others, you are a lying dog-faced pony soldier.
This is like saying Obama's "deplorable" comment is equivalent to Trump's "rapists", "ugly", "fat", "lying", "evil", "dumb", "corrupt", etc. and those are just his words to describe entire groups of people. If we got into individuals his use of insults would give him massive credibility in any 2nd grade classroom and apparently to his base. There is no moral equivalency here. Without a doubt I'm certain Joe Biden has insulted individuals and groups. The difference is it's not a habit. In fact, one of his major accomplishments to date is how well he's been able to walk the tightrope between the R's and his extreme Left. Just listen to how Biden walks that tightrope and then remember back to Trump. You don't have to remember, just look at his current name-calling against anyone who has an alternate opinion. I get that his base LOVES when he insults others as he's saying what they are thinking or in the case of the West Mall doing under the veil of anonymity. Of course, that also ended up in a 7 million vote loss as the more rational of us said this behavior is beneath the dignity of the POTUS office.
I don't think "more rational" would be the apt descriptor. I would go with more: lazy, socialist, and irresponsible for starters. You can get blisters patting yourself on the back, but the truth is Biden and his policies are making America worse, which is why you never trumpet President Dementia's accomplishments.
That’s what you got Opps, I never said Trump had mean nickname he did. I do like you Bubba on occasions.
The F..... Clinton's were the two most corrupt, "deplorable" and dispecable people & politicians in Ark, US Fed gov or Roman history. The US would have been beyond doomed with HRC as POTUS.
I had said we need a president who’s a professional and doesn’t call people names. I inferred that your calling me corn pop insinuated that Biden also calls people names. It’s a reasonable interpretation.
From my 5 second google search: States with Republican governors had highest Covid incidence and death rates, study finds
Please fully accept my apologies for any potential name calling. While it may have been meant quasi playful it apparently wasn't interpreted in that way by some here. I will be better. ~~Boomer!~~
You specifically stated less deaths would have occurred with HRC as POTUS. Would she have removed republican governors under your theory? What specifically would she have done? Maybe Operation Extra Faster Warp Speed? Seriously, watch something other than CNN.
I'm saying, REASONABLY, that having a president NOT publicly ignoring science and MISLEADING the public for MONTHS would have led to those Republican governors actually doing the right thing. Remember, he knew how bad and dangerous this was even as he was saying "cases are going to disappear". Some of them did the right things anyway and were ridiculed for it. Mike DeWine and Larry Hogan come to mind off the top of my head. If you can't see that you might as well get you some Aggy regalia and a collie. Ohio Republican governor tweaked by Trump, praised by Biden Trump attacks a Republican governor for following his coronavirus testing advice Oklahoma's governor was ahead of the game in bending over for Trump. He bought 2,000,000 doses of the miracle drug hydrox..... Great use of state funds!
"It focused on per-capita infection and death rates in the 26 GOP-led states and 24 Democratic-led states and Washington, D.C., and made statistical adjustments for issues such as population density." Yeah.........
If you look at the actual numbers rather than a NBC spin piece, it's far less clear cut. And I hate when you make me defend Trump or mitigate a criticism of Trump, but always remember that when it really mattered, the Democratic Covid plan was to party unmasked in Chinatown and let thousands of Chinese people fly into the US everyday (including from Wuhan) and cough on people because they didn't want to be thought to be xenophobic. Political correctness and ******** were the top priority rather than public health, and I'm going to throw that in your face every time you get partisan and righteous about this and act like your **** don't stink. Like I've said, there is room to criticize Trump on Covid and a ton of room to criticize him on messaging, but when it came to real answers when it counted, you all didn't have diddly-dick. You weren't better. And honestly, I don't blame them that much. Nobody really knew what to do. That's why globally the rates are all over the map.
That criticism is fair. There was bipartisan ignorance on that front. I think in March/April the things to do were to coordinate PPE and testing capabilities. We did not do that. We told the states that they were on their own so they had to start competing with one another. Instead of harnessing the power of the government with executive power we made ourselves weaker by separating. Then we politicized public health. That has led to far greater vaccine hesitancy in red states while the big orange guy got his vaccine quietly in the closet.
All of the major cities in the US as far as population have democrat mayors who followed the flawed science. Hypothesizing HRC would have done better is silly. Her inaction as SOS proved her inability to make good decisions that would save lives. She would have used the crisis to pad the foundation bank accounts.
The bigger issue is that government caused the virus by funding research at the Wuhan lab. Government sucks, and Dems are for more government.
Then why spout that horse ****? That's Monday morning quarterbacking, and you don't know if that would have made a big difference. Most of the public health infrastructure is at the state level. It made sense to coordinate things through the states. Furthermore, every state had different challenges, so any kind of federal management should have been approached with skepticism. And of course, we left the states on their own except dumping a bunch of federal money on them, providing equipment, and developing a friggin vaccine in record time. In other words, we didn't leave them on their own. There was a massive federal intervention, and anything beyond it would have been constitutionally suspect. We politicize the national anthem, public bathrooms, professional sports, and friggin soap dispensers. Why wouldn't we politicize public health? But where's your credibility? When you all said it was xenophobic to keep people from Wuhan from entering the United States, that was pretty friggin political. When your side said, "screw self-isolating, go protest and riot," were you not politicizing pubic health? That's the problem. Yes, Trump politicized public health, but what the hell were you all doing? You and many supposed "experts" turned out to be the worst offers. And with respect to the vaccine, do you remember what Kamala Harris and Andrew Cuomo said about it? Remove the friggin plank from your eye, dude.
