I guess I can respect that in a perverse, Switzer-like way.

Sanity prevailed and MJT finally admitted that her comparisons between mask mandates and Nazi's treatment of Jews was inappropriate.

It wasn't an invention of the "fake news" afterall as she tried to claim in the immediate aftermath.

I detest flag burning as much as anybody, but laws against it are so flagrantly unconstitutional that it's stupid (and yes, clear virtue signalling) to even propose them.

Doubting your word on the potential unconstitutionality of said law, I checked my internet sources.
    What you said checks out.

No. Obama became rich because he became the President. You have no problem with that. Trump made his money before he took office. You have it completely backwards for some reason. It truly astounds me.

He became rich after he was president. Trump was about to be in serious financial trouble. He was using the populist movement to buttress his Apprentice product and to try to launch something or just glom on to an OAN or something else more Foxnewsy than Foxnews. He got derailed when he won. He would have been much better off to have lost in 2016 and soaked the rubes for the campaign $, benefit from his newfound popularity, and spend day/night throwing turds at HRC. He would have been living his best life.

As someone who has attended a fair amount of conferences, these companies throw money at 2 things: famous people for keynote speeches and concerts. I can only imagine how much SAP paid for Sting at one conference I attended. These are conferences that have thousands of attendees and are a sales vehicle as much as learning for attendees. Some of these events get very bougie. One included a helicopter trip over the Grand Canyon for a Vegas conference. Another included a private cooking session with Gordon Ramsay.

is anyone surprised much of his wealth is a payoff? 1 mill per speech. Yeah, that makes sense

A payoff? Please feel free to submit your evidence to the DOJ. Make sure it covers every POTUS, every VP, every SOS, every other Cabinet member. It's common practice that these individuals do the speaking circuit and get paid handsomely. Feel free to regulate that, I wouldn't mind, but the conspiracy theories are a bit much.

One Conference I attended Henry Kissinger was the keynote speaker. It was a conference in Washington D.C. with an organization focused on Data Visualization. I'm certain he was paid but who knows how much. Was that a payoff in 2008 from his work as SOS under Nixon?

How is it a payoff? He's out of office. It's not like they're people paying for pardons or something.

Long ago I've stated it was unethical and stated that regulations were needed to prohibit children from profiting off their parent roles. Did you miss that?

Yep. I generally adhere to the principle that you leave the spouses and children of politicians alone. However, I draw the line when they make money off their powerful relative or try to influence policy.

Missouri Law Enforcement No Longer Required To Enforce Federal Gun Laws

Missouri becoming a "sanctuary state" from Federal gun law enforcement. Looking forward to everyone who chastised "sanctuary cities" demonstrating their logical consistency and now levying that criticism at Missouri. Conversely, those on the left that supported "sanctuary cities" must surely support Missouri, right? ;)

    Both extremes are crazy.

I'm well aware of 298 cases of potential Cardiomyopathy that are being investigated...of millions who have taken the vaccine. Those are serious and should be investigated. The signs so far is that it's temporary. My 3 sons aged 22, 20, and 18 have taken Pfizer (the older 2) and J&J. To live at their colleges in the dorms (Freshman were required to live in dorms) they had to have Meningitis and Measles vaccinations.

Here are the side effects of Meningitis.

Serious and shouldn't be taken lightly.

Why younger folks, who have a miniscule risk of dying of covid, HAVE to take the shot is beyond me. Low risk groups don't need the vax

Oh boy...if you're keeping score at home, Putin and Osama bin Laden's niece are on the Trump bandwagon. Does one really want to be on the same bandwagon as them?

221 cases are being investigated in the US of which 81% are reported to be fully recovered. That means 42 individuals are impacted long-term. How certain are you that the same ratio (or worse) of young adults aren't impacted by Covid 19? How sure are you that these young men can't pass it on to others?

Like the blood clot hysteria before it, this cardiomyopathy needs to be investigated but so far is not a serious matter. Israel for example had this data and still approved it for young adolescents.
