Respectfully, the problem I have with this statement is that you've admitted that credibility doesn't matter but rather you like the content. He literally could be lying to you or simply only giving part of the story. Credibility is the PRIMARY characteristic of the author that should matter when discerning how much value to give to the article. This applies to any author/source we all consume. Bernard Kerik is an admitted liar. As a former felon, most wouldn't listen to him at all. In fact, nobody did until Guiliani pulled him into the Trump orbit.
If you want to be the Pigeon and validate my claim please feel free. Notice that Garmel edited his post. He initially said "I will be right again." This insistent claim to winning an argument that never existed based on no facts and data is a hallmark of the pigeon argument. It's a Trump characteristic to claim to be "winning" and undefined argument that some of his supporters have adopted. For each of those items my sincere hope is that you realize there are nuances to the argument. A single DOJ attorney falsifying a FISA application doesn't suddenly invalidate the Mueller investigation which indicted dozens of individuals, many of which Trump chose to Pardon. A judge publicly chastising the DOJ prosecutors on the Flynn case but validating the charges doesn't invalidate their effort. You could go on and on for Trump's conversation with the GA SOS and other items. There are valid criticisms of media coverage and investigator decisions but to claim that validates some of the far-right conspiracy theories displays a shallow understanding and cherry-picking of the facts.
If the shoe fits or just calling a spade a spade. Use whatever colloquialism you like. You knew it which is why you edited the post to remove the pigeon argument trigger.
I sit corrected. Thought you had edited this comment: Both of our initial responses still stand. Your action like the pigeon and me pointing it out.
Good on you. If every one of my arguments demonstrated I was acting like a pigeon I'd want to block those that pointed it out too...or learn and update my debate strategy. On second thought...the latter is a more intellectually sound strategy.
You're the one that moved f3, g4 (figurative). Not me. You put yourself in the position of backing lies and misinformation time after time, you have to live with it. Fools Mate "Summer of Love" in Seattle. LOL
No need to put words in my mouth. I never came close to even insinuating that credibility does not matter. That statement was based on your assessment that he has no credibility whatsoever. I was merely playing devil's advocate and giving you that point. Assuming he is a liar, Trump loyalist, etc., the facts he laid out were extremely specific and easy to refute if untrue.
Here is what you said...emphasis is mine. How is the reader supposed to take those first 3 words? Credibility doesn't matter as much as the content is a safe translation. If you want to update the statement feel free. Refuting his statement is very easy if we know when he visited the facility. The Red pens were part of Week 1. That former SOS Bennett was accused of using his phone inside the arena by the monitors. Kerik can claim they weren't there when he visited but claiming it's not possible is a bit of a stretch, isn't it? He visited a point in time, after the initial accusations and corrections in processes were applied is my guess. Claiming all the problems don't exist now doesn't invalidate that the criticisms weren't valid before.
Details, yes. Nuance, you can keep Chess is all logic (stole that from my wife the Math teacher). Nuance doesn't have a place at the table
I leave town for a few days and see fighting about Pidgeon crap and such on the forensic audit thread. Ha! I’ll post something audit related, been out of the loop.
BREAKING: EVIDENCE PRESENTED AT HEARING TODAY SHOWS STACEY ABRAMS RAN FULTON COUNTY ELECTIONS - CD Media
It needs to happen or the election lawsuits like we saw this past election will be the norm...and worse. It will be a bonified election strategy.
The sad part is they're trying to set up these election laws so that the legislatures can overturn an election on their whims. Without faithful GOP election workers in Georgia and Michigan it was within the realms of possibilities last year. Now election workers are being harassed by the "stop the steal" idiots and are resigning from these voluntary roles in droves.
I've not read any of these documents but I found it interesting that people are put away solely based upon witness testimony from known liars, thieves and murderers. I suppose once a liar always a liar? It doesn't fly that way in court when dealing with a current situation of who done it. If the document is supported then I suppose that is what matters. But I do understand that bias is huge when reading anything and I try to find different sources for the same issue and when I find overlapping agreement I figure that maybe that part is true.
Sidney Powell and Lin Wood are arguing that the didn't actually sign "the Kraken" lawsuit but their electronic signatures are clearly on the filings. It's possible a local attorney threw them on but their public statements sure made it appear they were involved. That's what has this judge fired up.
JFC. They preached like they were dropping the round wheel when "the Kraken" came out. That's like Mike Lindell trying to get away from pillows or Joe Rogan trying to get away from MMA.
