If your governor had stuffed sick people into nursing homes, he would be a hero to the left.

When US daily deaths drop below 250, covid deaths will be overshadowed by deaths due to drug overdose. This will happen by July 15.

After July 15, people should never think of covid beyond what they think of drug overdoses (as bad as it is).

Covid death rate is now lower than the combined deaths due to suicide and drug overdose.

Why is covid an issue anymore?

My step mom who was 79 and in very poor health, died three weeks ago. She was not going to make it much longer regardless. But I found out that she had clots in both arms to the point they could not get blood test results. That same day her sodium levels dropped off a cliff because both kidneys were failing. She died an hour later. My Dad and her took the Moderna vaccine in late January. Not sure what this adds up to. No way it will be coded a vaccine related death......it makes me wonder.

Daily death rate now 300. When it drops to 250 by July 1, it will match drug overdoses. Whereas Dems apparently don’t give a shît about drug overdoses, they want to continue the destruction of the economy and our school kids with their lockdowns.

Hope you all don't get an outbreak of the Delta variant like we are over here.

It’s already here in 46 states.

The current outbreak in the UK is similar to the covid outbreak in the midwest here in the US a few months back. Once it burns through the cordwood and the rest of the area become immunized through the jab, it will dissipate. Health authorities know this but lying to the public to increase vaccination rates. Rather despicable.

Covid death rate in Texas is approaching the daily level of drug overdoses and auto deaths (22 per day). It will be beneath it by July 1. Other than encouraging vaccination, why is covid mentioned at all?

So sorry for your loss AC. I lost my father in 2014. Still think about him everyday. Sometimes more than ever.

Heard two directions (same airline)...standard spiel about 'emergency...masks may drop...oxygen...blah blah blah." Followed a few minutes later by "please take off your mask BEFORE placing oxygen mask..."

    Seriously...

This was on United BTW...ex-IAH and ex-LAS.

There are people who simply should be bubble-wrapped and never permitted to go outside.

Oh, and in Vegas...it was almost like going back to January 2020...a few fearful people wearing masks but ZERO plexiglass, ZERO temperature scans and ZERO questions about vaccination status. Now you just have to avoid getting sick of people that wear things that have zero business being worn in public...or private.

Maybe that was in jest, but nobody knows why people choose to wear their masks. Start with underlying conditions. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Whoever is irritated at those wearing masks then it's on them; not the mask wearers.

There is NO justification for sheer clothing with only a thong underneath, and even LESS justification than that when the individual is 5'5" and 230lbs. I don't even WANT to know the physical contortions that went through getting something like that on...it was folded, spindled AND mutilated.

If I wear a mask, I'm not fearful, I'm assuring I don't somehow spread crap to passers by. It's like polite.

The only thing the mask assures is that they can't see your smile, which is not polite.

We believe that the vaccine would mitigate the effects of COVID. We don't believe it's 100% immunity. And if we are vulnerable to catching it, even asymptomatically, then we believe we could potentially pass it on to someone else.

They also can't see the crooked teeth and yellow stains, which is even more polite.

Only folks I see wearing the anti-Wuhan dirty socks here in Houston anymore are old people and blacks, both of whom have been frightened to tears for high TV ratings by the media, and the poor workers at stores who still have to wear the hot, nasty, face huggers. Yuck.

Dang by, well said. When I do wear it I do it as a courtesy. I'll admit that virus mitigation went to **** and the hogs ate it here in eastern oklahoma. I went to a funeral about a month ago and there were 4 masks.

Surprised there were any face huggers at all.

I assume it was outside, where there's about zero chance of getting it, when there's about zero chance of getting it from someone who's not sick, when there's about zero chance of getting it from someone who's been vaccinated, when there's about zero chance of getting it yourself if you've been vaccinated.

At some point, the virtue signaling and hysteria have to stop.

Inside. At some point the assumptions to fit a certain narrative have to stop.

    OK, updated:

At some point, the virtue signaling and hysteria have to stop.

Look, the reaction to the Wuhan did its job, better than any freakout to a virus in history:

China got stronger and the US got weaker.
The rich got richer, and the poor got poorer.
Amazon/Google/Apple got richer, and small businesses closed for good.
Government power was increased, and personal freedom was decreased.
Democrats won seats, and Republicans lost them.

It all worked out wonderfully - to those in the left side of the list - just the way they worked so hard for it to happen.
