College coaches were allowed to start contacting 2023s at midnight.

WR Johntay Cook II said Coach Coleman was the first to contact him while he was on FaceTime with QB Arch Manning.

Sark contacted Manning right around the same time, per 247.

    Kahuku football matters ...

    Kahuku football[edit]

    Young, American football players
Many of the people in the Kahuku community and in the football community have Samoan or Tongan roots[9] and high school football has become quite important to them. Kahuku High School in this small, rural, coastal town on the North Shore of Oahu has produced some of the best football players in the United States. The players are regularly scouted by American colleges and universities.[10][11] Many end up playing professionally for the National Football League.[12]

All those years of Akina on sideline we didn’t get a single Pacific Islander.

Curious as to the comment. Akina had a long string of top notch DB's and i dont recall anything negative about him. Can you educate me because since he left, we sure have not had quality DB and perhaps thats personnel or coaching.

As I said, the guy was a cancer, not a team player. Maybe he could coach, maybe he couldn't. If I hand you 4-7 four & five star high school kids every year, you will produce some "top notch DBs"

If Card and Bijan have a good season then we won’t have to worry about offensive recruiting of skilled players. OL will be our biggest need.
