My kids’ former youth director want in church Sunday. Upset that her 37 year old personal trainer had passed from Covid. He was in the shape of the typical personal trainer.

37 year old personal trainer. Thinking you might rethink that medical advice.

I put as much credence in your post as you did in my post about a 20yo healthy kid at my church that suffered a stroke after his 2nd covid shot. Doctors say he might get home by Xmas. But hey, keep on that Everybody Gotta Jab train

That's sad, but it's a wild outlier. What's the actual death rate for guys under 40 who have no underlying conditions and especially who aren't obese (much less in personal trainer shape)?

And of course, in typical Switzer fashion, this has absolutely nothing to do with Nash's point.

Q - Coach, why'd you go for it on 4th-and-1 against the Eagles?

A - Sometimes you need to carry a gun in the airport.

For my first 3 years in Germany I never tried it. It just looked nasty and grizzly - just looked like a hunk of bone with ligaments. Then one day a German waiter recommended it to me. I was apprehensive, and he said, "many Americans don't like how it looks, but nothing on the menu is as good. If you try it and don't like it, I'll bring you something else for free." I went for it, and he was right.

For starters, there's a ton of very tender and flavorful meat on it. It can easily be your only meal of the day. You just use your fork and work it off the bone. And like the krustenbraten, the fat is broiled until it's crispy, so at least the top layer is quite tasty. Overall, I probably ended up eating 3 or 4 of them in Germany, and when I did, I basically didn't eat all day so I could finish it.

They serve half knuckles at Paulaner, so it isn’t a massive meal. By the way, the Paulaner in Shanghai is shît because it is not controlled by Paulaner out of Germany (franchised). The one in Beijing is the real deal with imported food from Germany (located next to the German embassy).

    Wow!

NIH removed genetic sequence data of COVID at request of Chinese in 2019.

WTF is wrong with these government morons! Somebody needs an *** kicking.

Sent to me by daughter-in-law, are the code charges correct Bubba? I know you’ll set the record straight on this.

That is somewhat accurate and varies by hospital. A Covid admission with no complications could be the 13k one. Same as pneumonia. Any visit that requires a ventilator will jump substantially due to cost.

The thing is there is no administrator pushing MORE ventilator admissions. Those are losers, big time. The billed charges (that you would never receive) on vent patient would be way past 39k. Sometimes $100k’s.

Also, these are Medicare numbers. Medicare is cost based. So there is an annual audit of all costs under the Medicare prospective payment system. If you were able to provide ventilator care for an average of $32k. You would have your Medicare rate reduced to benefit from those savings. The range in the Tulsa market on Medicare costs are varied. A reimbursement at the two catholic hospitals might be $10k. That same drg and number of days will vary from $13,800 to $7,200 at the other hospitals. And the $7,200 is way more financially stable because they don’t have uncompensated care. Those aren’t real numbers but approximations with $10k as the median for simplicity.

In short, no one is admitting and venting patients for the additional reimbursement. And I could get behind a theory that we didn’t treat it the best way initially. Hospitals are getting better.

Our rural hospital has yet to vent a non vaccinated person. And patients aren’t coming off vents.

clarification: I’m gonna ignore the hcq and remdisvr talk. Those are politicized meds. We used both with minimal success. That said the antibody infusion is a huge winner. But it’s not FDA approved yet so most of the agginers won’t take it.

    Did you write this wrong?
And by antibody infusion you’re referring to transfusion from a recovered patient’s plasma, correct?

That is what the administrator told me last week. So, no.

I don’t know exactly what the monoclonal antibody is made up of. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monoclonal_antibody
    A
guy I’ve known since 5th grade got it today. He was positive and vaccinated. Here is his review:
    Holy **** dude.
    That stuff is amazing!!!

Clearly, the virus is political with this admin

Federal policy change reduces COVID-19 antibody treatment drugs coming to Montgomery County infusion center

shift in federal distribution policy of monoclonal antibody therapeutic drugs has led to a shortage of the drug at regional infusion sites in Texas, including one in Montgomery County which opened in August.

According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, providers were once able to order the drugs directly from a wholesale distributor. Now, they must receive allocations from their states, who in turn will receive them from the federal government. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which is responsible for allocating the drugs, says the change comes due to increased demand.

DSHS said following the federal change, Texas received 21,270 courses of drugs intended for a time period just over a week, compared to 27,811 courses that providers ordered from Sept. 1-10.

County Judge Mark Keough posted about the change late on Sept. 14 on Facebook. Keough said he believes the White House was “metering” supply of Regeneron to Texas and Montgomery County, and alleged the national supplies are “ample.”

“So less than a week after [President Joe Biden] tells us his patience is wearing thin and he is mandating vaccines to millions of Americans his administration limits and all but removes a noncontroversial and highly successful treatment from our war chest of combating this virus,” Keough wrote.

Thanks Bubba. That must have been hard for you to share with the debate as to relevance between vaxxed and non vaxxed people and the course of the disease.

I seem to remember that mono vs polyclonal from my long ago days of laboratory testing. Seems like Syva was the first to come out with it for their drug testing. I could be wrong, Abbott was an aggressive innovator too.

Here’s one. Note that all 33 ICU patients are unvaccinated. On our call this morning we had a patient in a bad way in the ER on a vent with no transfer outlet. One of the problems that the data folks are having is that we have to keep these people so long in the ER without an admit that they are outside of the 14 days from positive test that they aren’t being counted as a Covid admission.

My step mother died 90 days after being vaccinated. Clots in both arms to the point they could not get a blood sample. She was on saline for many days straight. Which if that is overdone, is very hard on the kidneys. Also, she didn't eat for 3 weeks while in the hospital. Her kidneys failed and then she died. Too much saline and not enough calories to sustain her while in the hospital. I have heard from doctors, nurses, and undertakers who see real trouble with these vaccines and how patients are being handled. I am not in that profession so all I can do is go by what they say.

Oh brother, now an Illinois woman, 66 year old fully vaccinated dies from Covid and family blames the unvaccinated? Thanks Biden, great job at creating division. That family claim is as idiotic as those morons taking horse medicine.

Boy this is really getting ugly. My 23 year old granddaughter who has chosen to not get vaccinated just got a filthy message forwarded to her, Twitter I guess, that ripped on the unvaccinated mercilessly. Again, thanks Biden.

Maybe if your boy Trump would have received the vaccination in public with his family it wouldn’t be so politicized.

He got it in secret. Great leader there.

Hahaha, yeah that’s funny Bubba. It’s Trumps fault. Biden has done an amazing job bringing America together to fight this. Vaxxed vs unvaxxed, good vs bad, individual liberty be damned. Science, ie, no big deal for young people be damned. Natural immunity be damned.
