Long story, but I'll try to keep it short. My dad and I have talked about visiting the National Baseball Hall of Fame since I was a kid (about 35 years) but have never gone. Mrs. Deez suggested that I take him there while we're in the US this trip, so I'm doing that. As part of that trip, we went to a Yankees-Red Sox game at Fenway Park - an amazing experience and worth the $440 I paid for two tickets.

Anyway, while walking into the stadium I saw this. Friggin' nauseating.



However, what was encouraging is that at the game nobody from either team took a knee. Nobody booed the national anthem or God Bless America. In fact, the crowd was overwhelmingly and enthusiastically patriotic. The fact that this was in liberal Boston makes me wonder how much support the lunatics actually have.

 

Nauseating is right. And I wouldn't go to a baseball if I was paid to do so.

 

The problem with America these days isn't normal people. The problem is the private-public power system. They are trying to exert force on Americans to believe a certain way and looking for ways to punish those who won't comply.

 

I generally don't even though I love baseball. I made an exception for this, because it's part of something I've been planning since 1985. Back then baseball wasn't woke. In fact, they at least tolerated Marge Schott saying Hitler wasn't that bad and calling two of her star players her "million-dollar ni***rs." They'd have her horse whipped now.

Also, I'm not sure if you work for Delta, but those MFers can eat my ***. I'll never fly them again. My flight from DFW-JFK got cancelled, and they put me on a 7:50 a.m. flight and didn't notify me of it until the day before. I tried to call them to see if I had other options since I didn't want to get up at 4:30 a.m. The hold time was 4 hours and 18 minutes, so I obviously hung up. Friggin ********. And they put us on a hot, stuffy, tiny-*** plane (an Embraer 175 I think).

No, I don't fly for them. I fly for a ULCC here that other pilots I know think is the only one having operational issues right now. Not that I'm glad, but it doesn't surprise me to me hear that Big Wings Legacy Widget is having issues as well. Sorry that happened, I don't like that even though it wasn't my airline.

 

I actually love this. this sort of challenge is where the virtue signaling liberals get shown for what they are. Just like the woke NBA folks that criticized the NCAA for different levels of support but are completely silent on their own $10+MM annual salaries while the WNBA ladies make fractions of that. Lot's of support until it lands in my yard and then crickets.....because it was just virtue signaling to begin with.

Everyone in the NBA, Hollywood, etc looks out for #1. they are only about the "equity" when it is some other person or group that will be doing the giving and sacraficing....to make things "equitable"
