Not speaking for @OUBubba but if the FDA/CDC recommended it? Yeah that would make sense. Anyone making health decisions based on what any politician says may have challenges functioning in society.
Or perhaps those who are 'vaccinated' are simply going elsewhere since, by your own acknowledgement, they are a tertiary system. You are making assumptions that are not backed by reality precisely because hospitalization rates and breakthrough rates are not linear. You SHOULD know this even being an okie... LOL at literally die...you again engage in fear mongering. People like you ARE a threat to rational people. You choose to ignore just how many will never even have symptoms much less be hospitalized, and of those who DO get hospitalized, not even a majority of THEM die. Yet here you are parroting the crap from the narrative that everyone who contracts the sniffles will die.
Link doesn't work...it just defaults to lung and has nothing on the page that appears to be correlated to your assertion.
What is this "Relative Risk Reduction" and "Absolute Risk Reduction" comparison? Has any vaccine in existence ever had 100% effectiveness (e.g. Absolute Risk Reduction)? The very idea of a vaccine is that you carry the antibodies to fight off the invading virus. All virus efficacy numbers forever have been measured in "relative risk reduction" haven't they? Changing to a success barometer of 100% chance of inoculation as the bar is a bit self-serving of the anti-vaxxers.
Since liberals like to reference polio as a reason to get the jab let's use that. It was eradicated in the US until libs decided it was a good idea to let illegals flood across the border starting mainly with Clinton. Its still mostly a non issue, but its here. I'd say that is an effective vaccine. Considering the jab is completely ineffective at preventing covid spread I say its a waste of time. On a side note, I had a physics teacher in high school who had polio as a kid and his left arm was paralyzed. Any time a student would act up or get dumb with him he would walk next to them and sling that arm on their shoulder and rest it there for a couple of minutes while giving a speech. It was creepy and we didn't have too many issues in his class.
Surprised? No. There is one really “whaaa” paragraph in this. Pfizer COVID Vaccine Less Effective After 2 Months
People wanted to believe in a vaccine that worked. All they got was “a feeling” it worked and enough bravery to leave the house. Meanwhile people are getting cancer and dropping like flies from the vax. Now all of Scandinavian countries are going hard brakes on it. When all the terrible results come out on heart and cancer, the Left will blame Trump for pushing for vaccines. Haha
Correct. But it’s sad. My wife, kids, & I are the ONLY members of my whole family unvaccinated. Thus, Ivermectin could save a lot of lives! I don’t want to lose friends and family to this crime against humanity!
There ya go. Vaccinating 18 and under is criminal. Quite the Correction: NYT Retracts Massive Error on Number of Children Hospitalized by COVID
I see Southwest Airlines is trying to blame their recent spate of canceled flights upon weather...meanwhile, that same weather does not seem to have impacted the other airline. Seems the REAL culprit has been what amounts to a sick-out in protest of mandates, with ATC in JAX and other places involved as well as SWA pilots. I sincerely hope pilots with other airlines do the same. It would show how stupid the mandates are when you decide professionals are expendable for having exercised choice about what goes in their bodies and that has not been studied as relates to altitude (or much of anything else for that matter). Airlines might be able to quickly find other staff for flight attendant positions, but pilots don't just come off the streets. Seems FAA has something called standards that have to be met...
Nephew had a four hour delay on flight from denver to El Paso due to no First Officer. I wonder if its related to the above message. Hmmm
Second such decision, so much for following the science. Federal Judge Rules Against Natural Immunity Claim Challenging COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate
I’m on hold 90 minutes so far trying to book a flight for my wife and daughter. They say it will be two hours. I hate elevator music!
Soooooo glad they’re on this, they gotta protect the public from the dangerous drug influx. But I do condone any action that goes against China. Guess this will push more paste users? Custom Officials Seize Small Packages of Lifesaving Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine in Chicago While Record Amounts of Fentanyl Continue to Flow Across Southern Border
The vaccines work. If you can’t see that I don’t know what to do for you. You might as well be a Texas football fan.
Link changes. Try this. SARS-CoV-2 Transmission From People Without COVID-19 Symptoms 59% of infections come from pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic.
If an icu has a population of more than 50% unvaccinated in a community that is 50% vaccinated and vaccinations skew older it’s common sense.
So let’s see. You say that the unvaccinated are all going to one tertiary hospital in Tulsa? Lol “die on a hill” is a metaphor that could be a double entendres. It was for more than a few conservative talking heads.
Oh. I guess it "works". Correlation doesn't equal causation but there can be no causation without correlation.
I’ve been inattentive to this site since Thursday when I entered enemy territory to drink beer, play golf, eat steak, drink bourbon, see many douchey dudes, fight traffic, and watch Sooner Magic happen.
Is that how vaccination success has been defined in the past? That was my point. So somewhere around 40% of icu has been vaccinated? That equals "works"? Where is your data?
Cases don’t mean crap. Talk to me about hospitalization, icu stays, and deaths. That’s where the vaccine makes the difference.
Under 10% of icu population has been vaccinated. I’ve never seen a report that it was more than 15%. It’s usually 5% or less. The Tulsa hospital providing the most complete data is usually at 100% unvaccinated.
